With a mission to bring together the islands of Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, and French St Martin through the gospel, Pastor/Evangelist Raymond Johnson of the Ambassadors for Christ Guadeloupe (AFCG) and Voice of Deliverance has made a donation of much needed supplies to the Ministry of Health.

Johnson and a delegation of over 90 people From Guadeloupe and Martinique are currently on the island with the Voice of Deliverance group to support and do ministry in Portsmouth and the neighboring villages.

At a ceremony on Sunday, Minister for Health Julius Timothy was presented with 19 medical beds, wheel chairs, strollers, crutches and over 2,000 bed sheets.

Timothy expressed sincere gratitude to the team for the donation stating that it was a timely gesture.

“This donation is very timely because as part of this year’s budget, $500,000 will be allocated to the Portsmouth Hospital,” he said. “We will be working with Ross University to bring the Portsmouth Hospital close to the standard of the PMH. We just received a request from Portsmouth for 15 beds, and here we are receiving 19 which will be very beneficial.”

District Medical Officer, Dr. Candia Jacob was also thankful for the worthwhile gesture.

According to her the donation will go a long way in facilitating the duty of the workers and enhance patients’ comfort.

The Dominica Infirmary will also receive a donation of bath towels and sheets from the Miracle Temple Churches of Guadeloupe.

In the meantime, under the theme: A People Healed, A Nation Restored Pastor Johnson will be hosting a week of evangelistic services here.

The week of meetings is organized in collaboration with the Northern Pastors Fellowship.

According to Pastor Johnson, the planning which began two years ago was finally accomplished.

“God has blessed me and as a son of the soil, I want to give back to my country,” he stated.

Pastor Johnson, who is from the village of Vielle Case started the Voice of Deliverance over 20 years ago because he realized that, as an Evangelist, “you do not always have to wait for someone to invite you, but there are times you have to invite yourself.”

    Pastor Johnson:

As a Canadian evangelist I want to congratulate you for your work of faith and labor of love.

Whether it be Dominica or Canada (my own nation) your type of evangelism is what is needed. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. You have shown the people of Dominica – and of course many others – that you care enough to help by serving their natural and temporal needs in very practical and generous ways.

When I read this I immediately wanted to know who you are and what your organization AFCG stands for. I went to your website and looked closely at your values and beliefs. Many others will have done or will be doing he same. Your good works attract people to the gospel you preach.

I rejoice at the way you have blessed the people of Dominica. But in a more personal way I want to thank you for the example you have given to others like myself who work in evangelism. We must do more to serve the natural needs of the people not only minister to their souls.

You and AFCG have done this in the true spirit of the Master.
May God use you to bring many into a personal relationship with Christ as a result of seeing Him working through you to meet visible and tangible needs in this 21 century.

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Executive Director of Living Hope Ministries.

Pastor Johnson and all who partner with his ministry have Christ’s own promise

“Give and it shall be given unto you!”

Folks, this is a ministry worthy of your support.

May God give them a bountiful harvest of souls on the beautiful nature island. I am personally praying for these evangelistic services.

Sincerely , Rev. Donald Hill. International Evangelist.

Much thanks to Pastor Johnson and his group for seeing a need and feeling the need with the donations. I am taken aback that there are only 6 comments on this story. This just shows you that most of the people on DNO are trapped and mentally enslaved/polarized by politics and are quick to jump on some nonsensical sensational story like ” a cameraman being kicked out of parliament,” but can’t see the good in extended thanks to Pastor Johnson for his contributions in building a better nation.

    My humble opinion.

@ Righteous I stop complaining about that that’s why I say I see the hearts of people on here am very open and even minded I say it as I see it if you do good I say so if you do wrong I say so, but on the rite note thanks to the people that see it fit to help we are thankful for your caring gifts.

Selfish evangelism…it wasn’t pastor Johnson alone… many people contributed… even the poster showcasing him alone… vieille case superiority syndrome

Is this not what was written?

“With a mission to bring together the islands of Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, and French St Martin through the gospel, “Pastor/Evangelist Raymond Johnson of the Ambassadors for Christ Guadeloupe (AFCG) and Voice of Deliverance” has made a donation of much needed supplies to the Ministry of Health.”

“Johnson and a “delegation of over 90 people” From Guadeloupe and Martinique are currently on the island with the Voice of Deliverance group to support and do ministry in Portsmouth and the neighboring villages.”

Individual comments may reflect Raymond Johnson, but I think in not-so-many-words, thanks was extended to ALL involved.

        CITIZEN:

        You are right about this!

In as much as I am use to reading letters and various kinds of reports I can assure you that no commentator intentionally overlooked the many good people who contributed and those who are laboring with Pastor Johnson to make this effort possible in Dominica.

Pastor Johnson himself would not think this way. I doubt if any of his donors or co-workers would either. They realize it is a team effort. Every ministry has a leader. Any thanks directed to him for the good that is done is shared by all who have made it possible.

In the Kingdom of God there are no big shots. There are only servants. But in any ministry situation there is usually one person God is using to give leadership or spearhead a project. We ask that people respect that individual and speak kindly of him or her. Because if you slander one of them you are slandering the Lord.

Pastors and evangelists like to know they are appreciated. But beyond that they are not seeking the praise of men. All they care about is the work : doing the job God called them to do and doing it right for God’s glory and the people’s good!

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. International Evangelist.
