Goodwill Red Cross spreads the joy of Christmas

hamperIn an attempt to spread the joy of Christmas, the Goodwill Branch of the Dominica Red Cross distributed Christmas Hampers to 16 needy persons in the communities of Good Hope, San Sauveur, Petite Soufriere and Goodwill.

This is an annual activity of the branch where needy persons are selected from various communities to receive these hampers. The hampers consisted of food and personal and household items given mainly to the elderly.

The Goodwill Branch volunteers conducted fund raising activities and solicited assistance from the private sector and individuals in making this all possible. Special thanks go out to Issa Trading, Lindo Mart, Ruebens Bakery, H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd., and Jolly’s Pharmacy for their generous contribution.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2015.

STOP; Instead of trying to blame the PM, why don’t you come and help build the man’s home for him. That would be a better gesture. If you do not anything to say please don’t make any comment. There will be people who are poor and those are rich I. Any country round the world.

Which PM builds home for people, I only knows and of one that help his people build there homes, and that is the ca urgent prime minister, which is very nice and generous of him and his government. By the way, do you own your own home?

That is not the point and you know it. 15 years ago Skerrit did not have a cent. Now he has it made big time and it can’t be from his salary as PM. So your guess is as good as mine where his money comes from. But the electorate is clearly happy with the status quo as they awarded a thief another 5 years in government to enrich himself even more. You people make me sick.
