I do hope they remind him of his campaign promise to the Kalinago students who will be entering DSC this academic year… Do not be afraid to ask for what was PROMISED to you.

I expect the same old rhetorical foolishness with promises that are enticing to the Kalinago people but in reality are only meant to further enslave these people to the dictatorial quagmire of Skerrit. Unfortunately, all those who will be there at the meeting, none will have the courage to ask the questions that matter. Questions such as what are the measures that the government is putting in place that will ensure that our indigenous people are EMPOWERED to do things for THEMSELVES and that they do NOT have to beg fake leaders to pay their light, water, phone and television bills for them.

The level of desperation in the Kalinago Territory is simply too high for our people to be playing foolish political slaves for Skerrit giving the falls impression that all is well.

The kalinago- people must not be left behind they must be given all the tools to participate in building the new nation. We need to have 100 percent of all dominicans involved in building that new nation. All the begging and free stuff given to people who can work should stop now. Every body who can work should work. We need a steady supply of birds and pigs for the Abattoir . The British did not teach us what to do we have to do it our selves. The opposition should not wait in the mean time fountain and Linton should supply pigs and birds to the Abattoir and encourage their supporters to do the same. In every country in the world except Black countries farming is not a dirty job , people who are educated have big farms except us. We get educated to be civil servants to serve our masters. We are not very smart people.

Some resign from their bank jobs and other important jobs to farm.
One of the managers of the department I worked with resigned his job to open a cabinet-making business.
Another left his job to have a painting business. Can you imagine that? Those jobs pay more than office work. Of course, I do expect the office needs staff but those office jobs do not pay as much. How many employees are promoted during their tenure? Plumbers, electricians etc., make more money than office workers.
Those D/cans who are narrow-minded must change their manner of thinking.
