The House of Nyabingi in Dominica has received a quantity of water and dry goods compliments of their colleagues in Martinique.

That donation was handed over by Camatchy Claude from the Ethiopian World Federation (EWF) based in Martinique.

At the brief handing over ceremony to Bernard “Tosh” Copiel, Claude explained that the goods all came from the heart of the people of Martinique through a charity concert held to assist Dominican brothers and sisters after the destruction of Tropical Storm Erika.

“We in Martinique are in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Dominica. It all came from a concert where people were asked to come and bring whatever they had. It’s our heartical contribution from the heart to our Nyabingi brethren in Dominica,” he said.

Copiel thanked them for the contribution and said “it will be put into good use.”

“We are pleased with what was given to use…much love and peace to them all,” he said.

Rasta has contributed much to this country, only to be scorned, shamed, and at times killed. With that said, it is time to show respect, courtesy to Rasta, and refrain from throwing stones at your own glass window. Rasta are citizens of this country, who has and still contribute in the Arts, Sciences, Nutrition, Health, Wellness, African History, Dominican History, Agriculture. Rasta are your Moms, Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Aunties, Uncles, Grand parents. Stop your ignorance and debilitating remarks against I-N-I. 5000 religions out there today and yours is the only true one???? One love to the Brethren from Martinique for the support and remembering to love – the one thing the ignorant does not know how to do! Much blessing to each one!

Yes, people need to now ! Rastafari is not a religion but a way of life in harmony with Nature ,One Another throught Spirituality. The only way to found our life with good values descended from African Ancestral Civilisation.
Now, everyone do as he want. I think that Rastafari hold Foundation. Hold on in practise and help children to emancipate from mental slavery. Tell them the truth and teach them all which is necesary for their development : science, mathematique, mother tong, medikal plants …Blessing!

Thanks to the Ethiopian World Federation of Martinique for providing some relief to the House of Nyahbinghi – The body representing the Rastafarian Movement in Dominica.

The House of Nyahbinghi has been doing a lot of work in terms of promoting a vegan lifestyle, educating the public about our African heritage, and have been at the forefront in the campaign to receive reparations from the European colonial powers who forcefully enslaved Africans in the Americans, including the Caribbean and Dominica during the Colonial era… an era marked by brutal treatment of Africans enslaved on estates in that period.

The House of Nyabinghi is also well known to promote and lobby for the decriminalizing of the use of marijuana for medicinal as well as personal use.

The House of Nyahbinghi celebrates Africa Day every year on May 25 (Africa Day was formerly known as African Liberation Day).

Good question. They are just a bunch of scroungers. I remember Skerrit giving them thousands of dollars to pay for a visit to Africa and get their vote some years ago. Did they go? What happen to that money?

scroungers? dem ever beg you yet? how you churches made out in erika? those destroyed weren’t holy enough?

      • September 26, 2015

While you at it, ask skerrit where is all the billions of dollars he and his best friends all over the Middle Eastern countries, the Baltic, Dominica and other parts of the globe in generating from the sale of Lady Dominica and her Passports gone. You know that skerrit is a one man show, a Dictator trained by Chavez and the rest, skerrit want to be the only person to control everything in Dominica, and his reason for giving the money to the Brethrens was to manipulate them for votes, the same way he started his Red Clinic ok. You need to open your eyes and ears tko
see and hear what is happening to your country, all the disrespect,
discrimination, stereotype, dictatorship racism dispensing on we
Dominican of African Race by skerrit and Tony Astaphan, and adding
insults to injuries while feasting aand selling our Island to Terrorists,
crook, his money laundering comrades he skerrit calling us GLOBAL
CITIZENS these are the things you should be worry and talk about not…

Love it, when folks question other people’s religion, only to subsequently condemn it, for within the box of their religion, the Christian guy, Moslem guy, Jewish guy….etc, each is convinced that only his religion will lead to eternal salvation.
I often wonder which guy is right, or are they all right, and that all religions lead home.

exactly. its better to bow to an imaginary white man that you have never seen but believe to be true because king James say so in the late 1600s when he commissioned the bible that he gave to the slaves for “instruction”

      • September 28, 2015

Some white man! No inhabitant of Judea in the first century would have looked anything like that blond surfer dude they portray Him as. If Jesus were in the U.S. today He’d probably be on a terrorist watch list.

Brother, we are our own worst enemy. If you don’t believe me study king Tegbesu of Dahomey and the good christian king Alvare of Congo to learn how our African rulers sold our people and how much money they were making from that. History repeating itself bro we being sold own the river by our own again. We must not remain blind.
