The International Foundation for the Development of Haitians (IFDH) has assisted some 25 individuals who have been affected following Tropical Storm Erika, including a family with seven-month-old triplets.
President of the group, Petite Louis Acceus, told Dominica News Online (DNO) that IFDH has been in existence for three years and has always given back to the community.
The total value of the donation is EC$35,000.
The donation of food and clothing was made to residents of Macoucherie and a Haitian family, who has four children including triplets, at the Kings Garments Security Office in Pottersville last week Tuesday.
“We always give back,” he said.
Acceus noted that this was their first major donation since the inception of the group, three years ago.
The donation was a collaborative effort between IFDH, Kings Garments and other local businesses.
Cheers to the IFDH, Kings and his team..An example of humility and goodwill and also of chartered ambition to BE a success!!
While the possie massie was treating the Haitian community like…… well you know how, how much did the Dominicana community donate? Hmmmmmm….
