JCI Dominica implements “Dream Come True” Programme Initiative

jci-dominicaJunior Chamber International – Dominica, in partnership with L’Express Des Iles, implements “The Dream Come True” programme which is geared towards providing assistance to underprivileged young persons in Dominica, aspiring to become young active citizens, whether it may be the dream of becoming a lawyer, an accountant, a top athlete, an entrepreneur, etc.

This programme will take effect from January 2017 and the organization is currently on a fund-raising drive to acquire the finances for the sustenance of the programme through a kind partnership with L’Express Des Iles.

The organization will have a signature raffle, whereby one lucky person will win a ticket to travel to any of the L’express Des Iles destinations of Martinique, Guadeloupe or Saint Lucia.

One raffle will take place this year December 20, 2016, for the Christmas season and another carded for April 2017, for the Easter season.

The proceeds generated, will go towards the “Dream Come True” programme, from which JCI Dominica will offer opportunities to enthusiastic, career driven young persons, in the form of scholarships, training programmes or donations that will assist them in realizing their dream.

Excellent initiative. There could be additional ways to fund-raise in Dominica.
You must also take it to also the elementary schools to apprise the youths about it as encouragement that they may be diligent, go on to higher studies and graduate.
