Miss Teen Dominica 2016, Tiffany Eloi made her first stop on Saturday, May 28 at the Northern District Home for the Aged in Portsmouth for an activity which forms one of many in which she hopes to inspire her peers and the Dominican youth, especially in the performing arts, to use those talents to make positive social contributions.
In this event, the elderly and other members of the Home were entertained with soothing pan music from members of the NBD Possie Pan; guitar from Lestus Lewis who is the current head boy of the Portsmouth Secondary School; music from instruments including the accordion, tambou and shiak performed by members of the Possie Pan Cultural Group, and singing by members of the Portsmouth Secondary School Key Club.
From inception, Tiffany always expressed her desire to encourage other young persons to be positive and to gain self-confidence. Involvement in the Arts is highly regarded as an avenue that supports the growth and development of such qualities. Ms. Teen plans to engage other schools and groups for upcoming activities.
Community Service should be a requirement for all high school students upon graduation. Good luck on your reign
Tiffani is so beautiful. I wish her the best best in her future endeavours.
