Mrs Shellyn George of Shawford is Digicel’s March Text to Win winner

On Thursday April 14, 2011 DIGICEL gave to the excited Mrs. George of Shawford (Digicel’s March text to win winner) the opportunity to collect grocery items at J. Astaphans & Company Limited as part of our March text to win promotion. To qualify, customers had to text the word “sweepstake” to 7171 and unscramble the Digicel word game. Each text cost one dollar ($1).

Mrs. George (who was unable to take part in the draw herself due to health reasons) allowed her father Mr. Yoland Jno. Jules to participate on her behalf. Mrs. George was given three (3) minutes to move through the various isles in the supermarket and try to collect as many items possible within the allocated time.

Following the said time allocated to Mrs. George (her father) managed to collect grocery items amounting to the total of one thousand four hundred and fifty Eastern Caribbean dollars and thirty-four cents (EC$1450.34).

Mrs. George expressed her excitement following the sweepstake. She said that Digicel has always been her number one company and she is quiet satisfied with Digicel and all its promotions. She encouraged patrons to support Digicel and further added that they could be the next Digi customer to win big.

“Digicel is very pleased yet again to bring excitement and cheer to another satisfied customer said the Marketing Administrator at Digicel Miss Calvia Timothy. She further added that “We are quite aware of the many economic challenges which persons are face with and thus we have found it fitting to give this sweepstake at this time of year, and in addition, customers can definitely look forward to bigger and better promotions that are still to come.

Congratulations to Mrs. George and family. Happy that DIGICEL did not keep you waiting too long.

Can DIGICEL explain why they have not yet been able to deliver the prize of the Suzuki Alto to the winner of their last promotion? Is it because the winner is a KALINAGO that they are dragging their feet in delivering the prize to the young lady?. It is strange that the prize for the March promotion can be delivered before the February promotion.

Usually, DIGICEL do not support activities in the Kalinago Territory inspite of the two transmitting towers that they have there while they spend thousands of dollars sponsoring events in other communities. Maybe its time for the Kainago Council to reexamine the lease agreement with them.
Not even the road to their transmitters that they assist in repairing.

DIGICEL CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT.
