NYC summer camp kicks off

The National Youth Council (NYC) has opened the door to its two week summer day camp under the theme “Youth who recycle”.

The programme is expected to run from July 23 to August 03 at the Harlem Plaza.

The camp is geared at educating the participants aged 7 to 13, about the importance of recycling. This will be done by creating crafts out of recyclable materials, field trips, and sleepovers among other activities.

LIME Dominica, The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation, Mr. Bobby Frederick (Harlem Plaza), Mr. Frankie Bellot/ Krazy Tees and the National Bank of Dominica are the sponsors of the summer day camp.
