OBITUARY: Regina Maria Charles

Mrs. Regina Maria Charles was born August 15, 1923 in Tête Morne, Grand Bay, Dominica.

Daughter of Tricie Alexander and Grand Daughter of Horace Barron and Ann Alexander.

She was one of five children, two sisters (Agatha and Estolene deceased) and one brother.

Married (Antony) Alious Charles (son of Cote Charles) and lived through five generations.

She passed away peacefully at age 88 years in the Borough of Newham, East London, United Kingdom on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 8 pm.

The survivors include her sister, Evelyn Laurent, who is residing in Florida and Par Joe Alexander of Dominica.

She was blessed with nine children, 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

    I remember her children Cusmus, Cyril, Daphne, and Gislene. My condolences to all her family.
