Over 20 top achievers of the Jones Beaupierre Primary School in La Plaine were recently treated to a whole day of water fun at the Coconut Beach in Portsmouth.

The initiative was that of past student of the school and owner of Wave Dancers and Quality Buy Vehicle Rentals Ltd., Eustache Joseph.

“We just wanted to do something for the school and our goal is to help the children that excel at the school,” he stated.

He also disclosed that the fun day is expected to be an annual treat for students.

Joseph is also hoping to continue to provide an EC$ 2,500 scholarship to the top performer at the Grade six Assessment exams at the school.

The first scholarship was was awarded last year.

“We are doing another one this year,” Joseph said.

25 students accompanied by five teachers and the principal took part in the fun day.
