I reading some real RIDICULOUS and DUMB comments under these article. It’s embarrassing to see how small minded our people can be. Jeez people it’s a rotating position, just like the Caricom chairman post. No Skerrit cannot give ECCB money to his supporters. Do you people even know what is ECCB and what the organizations is about, it’s policies? Man I just cannot digest that we have people that foolish. My God, it’s freaking embarrassing!! The most we can do is hope he makes a positive impact on the organization and in doing so make the EC dollar even stronger.

People, the position is rotating, meaning, every country gets a turn to head the Council.

Nonetheless, PM Skerrit, best of luck. Please use this opportunity to bring to light the perils that Dominica face vis-a-vis the banking policies implemented by the ECCB and other strategic policies which hinders us financially. Thank you.

Mr. PM, tell your citizens who owns the ECB. Who tells you what to do? Let me help you. The ECB is nothing more than a front for the private banker mafia (Rothchilds, Rockefellers, etc.) who control the the world’s monetary system and indeed our lives.

The ECB is a 100% privately owned organisations. Its shareholders are the same private, foreign individuals that own ALL centrals banks of the world. If you do not believe me, write to the ECB and demand to get a list of all its shareholders. Trust me, they won’t give it to you!

The PM is nothing more than a stooge. He just does what he is told by his masters and then gets backhanders (like all the others) for being good slaves.

What they are doing must be good because the EC dollar has not suffered the fate of the Guyanese, Trinidad nor Jamaican dollars that you’d need a suitecase full of each to just purchase a torn t-shirt. Your thoughts.

Congratulations PM Skerrit. You must be doing something good to be honored with this position even though it is rotating, for one year.
It shows why I support you.
    Good luck and God bless!

It is not an honor, merely a rotating position, shared between heads of state in the eastern Caribbean currency union. If Pappy was Dominica’s prime minister – it would be his turn.

I hope those people in the media asked the hard questions. This is the best of our region huh? Smh. Majority of potential development project that have gone down in DA was by funds and grants. Today we see a hotel development from passport sales funds. Where was the ECCB in all this. I would like to know if these projects are not viewed as profitable enough. If skerrit were to be the final sY o. The ECCB that institution would die a painful death.
