TO THE RULING GOVT AND THE POLICE CHIEF OF DOMINICA, WHY ARE YOU EXERCISING THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOUR POLICEMEN ON THE PEOPLE THAT THEY ARE GETTING PAID TO PROTECT? IS’NT IT TIME THAT YOUR POLICE OFFICERS STOP SPENDING THEIR TIME RUNNING WOMEN AND PROTECTING THE DRUG SUPPLIERS AND CONCENTRATE ON PATROLLING THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOR WHICH THEY ARE BEING PAID TO DO? IF YOU HAVE NOT NOTICED, THE MORE POLICEMEN THAT YOU HIRE IT’S THE GREATER AMOUNT OF CRIME THAT YOU HAVE. SO WHERE ARE THE POLICEMEN HIDING? RSVP..

When people like you will learn ifyou know so much about what the police do or dont do whythe hell you do not go to some one you trust or the comm.of police or even a member of the police commision and file a formal complaint? Instead of runing your stinking mouth over and over bashing the police at every opportunity some of you feel that makes you look inteligent with all those allegations against the police but to those of us who been there done that knows better so the next time you choose to open your trap and blow hot air think of how dum you are to just come on DNO and run your mouth about our lawmen. being a hater of the police does nothing to the police Force cause we are trained to expect those things. Jelousy will kill people like your kind. We used to say that those like you untill those so called bad guys come calling at your door step you will never know how important the police is to ensure every body live a life free of crime but thats ok keep blowing your hot air thank God we live in a democracy where we preety much free to say what the hell we want even without one iota of evidence or proof. Think of those thing before you open you mouth or come on Dno and show how empty vessels makes the most noise. Now bring it on while i sip some Sorell for Christmas. No hating just fed up!!!.

These are some of the things that most people do even when they are not aware of doing it, when it comes to securing their homes and property. But these days, the criminals are much more up to date, they know these things, all they do is monitor you for a while, long enough to kmow your routine then they strike.

What I would suggest is a change in your routine, change your road you usually travel, try to come back to your home at odd times, maybe allow a trusted someone to periodically visit your house, ensure your windows and doors have unbreakable locks, implement and maintain a neighbourhood watch.

I would also add that Dominica must try to invest in some security firm like ADT, whereby if your house is broken into, some kind of alert signal could be sent to the required authorities who could attend to that signal in a short time. It’s just a suggestion!

I’ve thought about this immediate alarm system myself (a la ADT) but I’m NOT convinced that law enforcement is up to the task of responding to such alarms in a timely manner. And how do we deal with malfunctioning alarm systems that go off without an intrusion/break in?

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, THIS IS A VERY GOOD SUGGESTION AND SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE THIS INVESTMENT ASAP.
