The Public Service Union (PSU) and Government may soon reach a settlement on salary increase negotiations for public officers.
The two parties met on Monday in another round of negotiations. While none involved has made disclosures about the current status of negotiations, information has surfaced that a new offer may have been made to the PSU.
The PSU had rejected a two percent salary increase offer from Government last month and government proposed a three percent increase this month.
PSU’s General Secretary Thomas Letang recently revealed several non salary matters have been settled with Government.
