The new executive of the Rotaract Club of Roseau

Royal Bank employee Bianca Payne has officially taken over as head of the Rotaract Club of Roseau.

The Club welcomed its new executive at its annual Investiture dinner at the weekend.

Featured speaker at the event, Lennox Linton congratulated the members of the club and urged them to continue the good work that they do.

Linton said that members should feel proud that they are working toward building a better Dominica.

He said he was impressed at the fact that they found the courage to remain positive at a time when being influenced by the negatives was much easier.

The Rotaract Club of Roseau is a non-profit community service organisation for young professionals within the ages of 18-30.

Within the last year the club undertook various community service projects throughout the island which included the Carnival Princess show, a children’s Christmas party in the community of Morne Prosper, a Lifeline Project in the community OF La Plaine, and visiting the homeless at the Grotto.
