Senior Chinese legislator to visit Dominica

Chen Changzhi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and one of China’s top legislators is to visit Dominica, Chinese news agency Xinhua is reporting.
In a brief report the agency said Chen left Beijing on Wednesday for a three-nation “Good-will visit” of the US, Dominica and Grenada.
It reports that Chen was invited to the respective countries by the US Congress, the House of Assembly of Dominica and the Parliament of Grenada.
The news agency did not specify which dates Chen will be in Dominica.

You guys need to know what you want. We don’t want England, now China. We don’t want this, don’t want that. When will it be We want this and that. If a group of Dominicans were more open-minded and unfortunately the closed-minded groups end up being into politics to make sure their privileges are never taken away from them and keep the rest of the people under some sort of slavery. It’s time for you to wake up and open your eyes wide to what’s going on now. The same class of people always get it all and the rest people remains blind-folded. Time to remove it now. For Dominica being under England still, there would have been equality for all, a passport to travel without boundaries. Cayman Islands recently complained to the European Union against England and the EU forced England to provide them with a British passport. Now they even have the audacity to accept or reject European Nationals at their will whilst they traveling to Europe how they want. Smart isn’t it. I would prefer to be a British Crown Colony a 100 times than a Chinese colony. I guess it’s too late it’s already happening. Dominica is now being indirectly colonised by China without the consent of the people. Common sense and knowing the Chinese Culture, Nothing for nothing. Don’t think you get all the help from China and China did not make sure to request a valuable price well in advance and that means colonised the island to have a presence in the Caribbean and to show off their new rank to the world. England, France, etc did that in past and still do having their colonies intact across the world.

when we had relaionships with tiwan i dont remember ever meeting anyone from there so why all of a sudden because now we have relations with the chinese that gives them the right to come here as they please and put all our small buisiness out of buisnees BRING BACK TIWAN at least they respected us

Before you know it, half I’d China’s population will be in Dominica. We will have to create a reserve for them to live in.

Dominica certainly seems to be an important and valued piece of real estate in the Caribbean Sea as far as China is concerned. For whatever it is worth some people are milking that relationship, albeit at a high cost to Dominica.
An important lesson that we could learn from this news story is the fact that the vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and one of China’s top legislators is travelling to the Americas and although the West is generally critical of China for lack of transparency and democracy in that country, here it is that the Chinese news agency is reporting the visit to the world. Had it been our PM or a member of his cabinet travelling to China –this would have been kept as a secret. The PM would simply disappear as a thief in the night and no one would know of his whereabouts
Anyway, welcome Mr. Changzhi. Hope you enjoy our genuine hospitality. Hope you are very satisfied with the manner in which your country’s loan funds are being put to work in Dominica. When you speak to Mr. Julius Timothy, please advise him that China will in fact forgive all debts as a manifestation of China’s love towards its colony-Dominica.

Again, why are hearing this through a foreign news agency? What’s the the sense of having a GIS if they are not disseminating thiskind of information. Or could it be that even they are kept in the dark by their masters. Surely, they are not limited to the the production of propaganda videos only.
