Statement from DAEC on the death of Bishop Daniel

Marcus Francis
DAEC’s Marcus Francis says Bishop Daniel’s wisdom, counsel and friendship will be missed

The Executive and Members of the DOMINICA ASSOCIATION OF EVANGELICAL CHURCHES [DAEC] join with all evangelical churches in Dominica, in extending deepest condolences to the immediate family and the extended church family on the passing of Bishop Michael “Bill” Daniel, Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies, Pastor of the People’s Pentecostal Family Church and President of the Evangelical Association.

The DAEC honours Bishop Daniel who served faithfully and with distinction in various areas of ministry for over 40 years. He served the Evangelical Association as President for several years.

His heart and passion was for the souls of men and the unity of the Body of Christ. He leaves a legacy of commitment, perseverance,  humility, strong family values, caring, prayerfulness and a listening heart.

The Nation and the Evangelical community will greatly miss the wisdom, counsel and friendship of Bishop Daniel.

We pray for his family and all those who mourn, that God will comfort them and grant them the wisdom and grace in this difficult time.

( The Facts ) You are alive and I can and will say a pray for you in regards to the twisted doctrine that you’re disseminating. The young man that died back at the Portsmouth police station is dead and gone.Nothing can bring him back and base on the word of GOD, not only him but all the souls that have departed from planet earth, there is only one of two places that they can go too and no one can pray them out of there..
GOD is not the God of the dead;but HE is the GOD of the living…Matthew 22:32…And there are many more scripture verses in the Bible that is very clear on GOD’s position regarding the dead…
My favorite one is the story of Lazarus and the rich man: Luke 16: 19-31 YESHUA ( JESUS ) only spoke of two places.Lazarus went to one,the rich man went to the other. And so if there was a third HE would have certainly say so since HE can’t lie..
I would sincerely ask you to read up on it as my prayer for you is that when you do GOD’s Holy Spirit will open up your spiritual eye to the truth of HIS word..
There is only one that came back from the dead to live and tell the story. And that’s the account that I’m giving you..The ball is in your court as to which version you choose to hold on too..
    GOD’s version or man…

The Catholic Christian Church, The Original Christian Church and Its teachings has the answers. It did not cause disunity and divisions. No matter what befalls it, it is still standing tall from 2,000 years ago and will continue to be until the end of time as God has ordained.
No matter what life people live, you cannot judge them. You are not God. Only God can judge. He judges the heart. No human being is capable of doing that.
Our Lord has warned us about judging others. This is what I am relaying to you. You do not even know where you will end up in eternity because you are not yet dead.
Some of you are too presumptuous and informing people “they must be born again”. Catholics were born again. They were baptized in the Name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I need not elaborate more on this.
I am not disputing what is contained in the Holy Bible for we especially practicing Catholics go by the Bible and according to what our Church believes and teaches us including their Dogmas as inspired by the Holy Spirit. These cannot be changed and no mere words of disbelief can ever change them. They are not man-made.
Some of you say, only proclaim Jesus Christ until you die and you will be saved. This means proclaim Our Lord and keep sinning and you will be saved. False teaching! This type of teaching and others have caused some to renounce their Catholic Faith as falsely been indoctrinated.
You act as if you know more than the Catholic Church and Its members.
There are many books written on this by those who received messages from Our Lord Jesus Christ. Some others, through inspiration.
If you have renounced your Catholic Faith or were never one, there is a lot you do not know and much you need to know. If you refuse to believe it, as I always say, it will be revealed to you when you die. You should listen to Catholic TV and Radio – EWTN – Eternal Word Television. There is non to compare.
In addition. no on enters Heaven and immediately at that with disunity and division in their heart. Many have caused this by opening their own churches and influencing others to renounce their church and join them. These have also become strong anti-Catholics. God has been watching from above and taking note. He continues to watch.
Hebrews 12:14 – Penalties of Disobedience – Strive for peace (and unity) with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
1 Corinthians 10:12 – Warning against Overconfidence – Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall. I speak the truth. I do not judge. So help me God!

You are obviously passionate about the History of your Church, but you are not fully informed. You are also a strong defender of the scholastic approach that your church is to be commended for, but here also you are short on information. Consequently, you make no mention of the chief concern of Christianity, i.e. a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, not a religious practice that is void of virtue.

They think that those who are criminals will never enter Heaven that they will go to Hell. That is what they teach and preach. This shows their lack of compassion on the unfortunate who find themselves in trouble. They are usually so wrong. God is a God of second chances and more.
Our Lord forgave the thief on the Cross who asked his forgiveness and said, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom …” We cannot judge them and their souls. Only God can. This is why He created Purgatory.
Read Matthew 5:23-26. There are other passages in Holy Scripture which pertains to Purgatory. It is obvious they have overlooked them or do not know Holy Scripture as they profess.
Our Lord warned us about judging others – “Judge not that you may not be judged accordingly” and two-fold. We must speak the truth, stand up for the truth and defend the truth but we must never judge.
God weighs out everything done during our lifetime. He also weighs how they were brought up by their parents and did they receive proper nurturing. The example set in the home could tarnish a child’s manner of thinking and character for life. You could contemplate on that. All of this will be a determining factor for his judgment.
As a Catholic Christian, whenever I hear someone dies, I always say I hope, at least their soul is in Purgatory. Those there cannot pray for themselves. They need our prayers. This is why this Church prays for the departed.
In Purgatory they make atonement for their frailties and one day will enter God’s Everlasting Kingdom. For some it will be longer than others based on their frailties – their offenses.
I have some information on it. There is a lot of information on the Internet about that. Google Purgatory.

        The Facts:

There is not one single verse of scripture that supports the teaching of purgatory. Any verse or passage of scripture that is used by the Roman Catholic Church to prove there is such a place is torn out of its context, misinterpreted, and misapplied.

You should know that the doctrine of purgatory was not a teaching of the Roman Catholic Church until it was declared such by the Council of Florence in 1439 A.D.

The purpose of purgatory is to bring in money by the sale of prayer cards, prayers for the dead, and masses.

The clearest description of the afterlife found in the Bible is Luke 16:19-31. In this passage the Lord Jesus is telling about two men who died each going to his place in the next world. One was comforted in paradise, and the other was tormented in hell. The purpose of Jesus telling this story was to show how the saved die and how the lost die. Obviously there is only two (2) places people go when they die.

There are other verses of scripture that show saved people (true believers in Jesus Christ) go immediately and directly into God’s presence in heaven when they leave this life. Read Luke 23:39-43, … Acts 7:59,60,… 2 Corinthians 5:6-9,.. …. Philippians 1:21-24.

The flames of purgatory would serve no purpose. Christ by His sufferings, shed blood, and death on the cross has already purged the sins away of all those who have trusted Him as their personal Savior! Read Hebrews 1:1-3. The believer is constantly and continuously cleansed from all his or her sins by the precious blood of Christ according to 1 John 1:7.

For those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and have trusted His death on he cross to put their sins away there is NO remaining guilt to keep them out of heaven. Please – oh, please – read the following verses of scripture:

        Isaiah 53:6… … Romans 5:1 … … Hebrews 10:16,18 … … St. John 3:36 … … St. John 5:24 … … Romans 8:1 … … Ephesians 2:8,9 … … 1 John 5:11-13… … Revelation 3:20.

        No, no. no!

Do not go to google to learn about purgatory. All that is on google has been put there by people like yourself, The only difference between them and you is that they think they know the truth and you are still searching.

Read the Bible especially the New Testament. St. Paul wrote “”All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, …” (2 Timothy 3:16) The Bible is God’s complete revelation of truth to mankind. It is sealed. We are forbidden to add to it or subtract from it. St. John recorded the very words of Christ Himself when he wrote, “…If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book. “(Revelation 22:18,19)

The Bible tells us there are only two places a person can go at death, heaven or hell. It shows clearly that a true believer in Jesus Christ goes directly to heaven, into God’s presence at the time of death. You will find the scripture references for these statements in my previous comments.

Don’t let them deceive you by telling you that you are not capable of understanding the scriptures so you must let a religious institution tell you what the Bible means. This was never the belief of the Christians in the early centuries of Christianity. St. Paul wrote to a young man called Timothy and told him, “…from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation …” (2 Timothy 3:15)

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. International Evangelist.
