What is happening to us Dominicans? You mean we don’t have adventurous Dominicans in Dominica?

I want to see a team from the Police, Fire and Cadet Corps start training for the DA Challenge. I’m sure it would be live on tv, radio and the Net. 8-O

I was very disappointed when the host country planned the event and not even one team from Dominica participated, and we are promoting tourism,Why was DA left out? I do not know what happened at the first event,Let me try to visualize something. Did DA took part and they were not treated justly or what? I do not know, I’m just inquiring. This time USA provided 2 teams, while Germany sent 2 teams. We wouldn’t expect a handful of teams from DA but at least 2 teams. There should be some teams from DA practicing long in advance before the starting of the event, running up and down those trails getting themselves prepared to get them fit. Mr Piper, if the ball was in your court, I think that this was a great blunder. How much would it cost Dominica to have at least 2 teams representing DA?

Congratulations Team Trinidad. You have won twice. You should feel proud of that. Are all of you from Trinidad? None from Tobago?
Trinidad is not all together flat. You must have practiced a lot. Of course, you got a chance to run around in the large parks.
Congratulations to the others who won. Happy to know you love D/ca and your stay is an enjoyable one. Dominicans are generally hospitable people. Come again!
I wonder why the Dominica team did not participate?

Congrats to the visitor/trinis for winning again. And good to see the teams are growing, but was disappointed that Dominica did not have a team. Why may I ask?

Maybe it’s me, but I’m not understanding the logic here. Why isn’t there a Team Dominica in this competition?
If it’s a funding issue, we can “Crowd-Fund” this event on DNO. If three thousand Dominicans each contribute US $1.00 hat’s a total of US $3000.00.

We are experts at marginalizing our own. We complain about our young people on the island, yet we continue to find ways of excluding them from normal society. Discover Dominica and “Colin no Ideas Piper” is a grand waste of time.

We’re in 2015 and the same ideas of “Slavery” persist on the island.

Tell me why would Dominicans need to participate in a competition to Discover their island? Think before you talk. It’s a competition to generate foreign interests to build tourism.

NJ I wonder if you know all of Dominica; in other parts there is always a local team participating so that’s no excuse.

It’s a Dominican competition, therefore a local team is a must. Have you ever heard of Reggae Song Splash without Jamaicans in it?

We have a society with high unemployment and burgeoning crime because there’s nothing to do and nothing to engage our young people. So why not use every opportunity to use the talent that we have and give them something creative, challenging and fun to do.

    Congratulations Team Trinidad! Well deserved!
I have to add it’s a shame on Dominica. Any country hosting sporting activities shine. They don’t need to pay for travel, and have a whole year to practice the course, so they have more people to participate and have a better chance of winning. Of course, with such a unique country providing so many unique brains who have no motivation to do anything that requires any effort continues to prevail. And if they decide to participate practice will start one month before. So shame Dominica. I wish I was 21 again to run up all those trails.
