The Dominica Cadet Corps recently added 128 new members to its ranks.

A special ceremony was held at the Windsor Park Stadium on Saturday April 11, ‘Cadet Day’, to recognize the new cadets.

Dominica News Online has decided to share the following video with our readers to provide the opportunity for Dominicans at home and abroad to find out about the history and mission of the cadet program.

The hope of the producers is that this documentary done on behalf of the Dominica Cadet Corp by Clement “Baba” Richards, will educate the nation and spur others to volunteer their time and resources to youth development and nation building.

Great job! This initiative bodes well for the youth of Dominica.
The discipline and respect they will learn will serve well in their adult lives.
    God bless Dominica.

I am proud to be a past member of the Dominica Cadet Corps-Grand Bay Contingent, The Cadet Corps has made me who I am today… but disappointed that they did not mention (do not want to call any name) that the first graduation after a very long time was held at the then Grand Bay Secondary School. :(

Thanks to Mr. Dorsen Robin who worked tirelessly with us …your hard word has paid off! We will always love and remember you.

    Stay Positive!
