A 12-member executive committee has been elected to officially manage, plan and execute 2018 community reunion plans in the community of Wesley.
An installation ceremony will be initiated soon.
The committee’s formation came following three failed attempts due to low turnout by residents.
Subsequently, a three-member steering committee was mandated to coordinate the process leading up to a meeting on April 3rd, when the executive committee was elected.
Reunion 2018 events will seek to allow the community and its residents, at home and abroad, to recount on successes while planning toward the future through unity.
The executive elections on April 3rd come just months following initial indications for a 2018 staging of activities and a show of willingness by those present to see it through.
A wide cross section of the Wesley community was present and participated in the formal Nomination and election of the two-year mandated organisation.
Information Technology Professional, Business Man and Teacher, Valentine Telemaque, was elected to steer the ship of the reunion.
In accepting the call to serve Telemaque noted that his approach to leadership is an open and inclusive one and that he believed with the team elected, great things lay ahead on the path to a successful 2018 event.
The 2018 reunion is expected to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the communities first reunion held in 2008.

They are featuring the very old Roman Catholic Church as if that is a master piece in the village, the only thing that has changed since I left is that the build some hand rails leading into the church, and fence on the side of the church, and I am sure the did that so people like the Lewis who live opposite cannot walk through there going to that area called Hill, and painted the out side of the building white, and the roof of the steeple red.
The only other change is that Green House I believe that man Etnioffe, Bonty and the rest father build in recent years, everything going back to Helen Bazil place all there as they have been for almost a hundred years. There is nothing different to what I left behind!

Where it pertains to marketing, what are the products proposed to be marketed. If the emphasis is on agriculture products, I will wait a bit longer to laugh!
I wish that there were some specifics relating to “projects” such as developing some form of manufacturing industry, where products can be developed and marketed out of the country, hence creating jobs, without jobs, without anything to produce employment, the status quo will remain the same!

Well, BEB they are always on my case, that so call Fly, has been bussing around for a long time, that person insults me, but when I fire back at that species of drosophila it simply fly’s away for a while and never fail to return.
Now that I know that human specie of drosophila resides in the mud of Wesley, that is encouragement for me to go home to the reunion; sort him/her out and get that nasty fly inebriated on some cheap white rum, so the fly can go to get stock in some mud! I remember when I was kid I get stock in the mud right on that hill from the main road going up to hunt.
By the time you got to Wesley walking up that same hill going to look for Josie they had already attempt to pave it, the last time I was there it was breaking apart, might be all red clay again.
