The Ministry of Health has partnered with the World Pediatric Project (WPP) to provide advanced pediatric care to the children of Dominica, according to health minister, Julius Timothy.

Some 165 children have received medical care totaling more than US$3.1 million dollars at no cost to taxpayers.

Timothy told parliament last week of the total amount of children, 27 needed surgical interventions including neurosurgery, plastic surgery, heart surgery, surgery of the bladder system, eye surgery and complex bone surgery of the spinal column.

All surgeries were performed in the United States, he said.

“The Ministry is considering expansion of the project to include a community outreach model for cardiology services using a preventive approach to identify children with early stages of heart disease,” Timothy revealed. “This component of the project will consist of screening clinics to be held at schools throughout the
island, targeting children who are most at risk with congenital and acquired heart diseases.”

The WPP is a non-profit humanitarian organization based in Richmond, Virginia and St. Louis, Missouri with a Caribbean hub based in St. Vincent.

Government has procured equipment and supplies for the Princess Margaret Hospital totalling $2,675,757.

The equipment include a Gastroscopy/Colonoscopy system, a Digital Mammogram, a CT Scanner and Orthopaedic supplies.

Hello and good evening my people. I thought Mr Timothy suffered a stroke and he went abroad for medical treatment. Mr Timothy please retire and look after your health otherwise you will die on your feet while working. Then they will say he was a good Health Minister but what’s that worth. So keep working while I am laughing at you fools who think the world will stop if you retire.

Okay, I red you loud and clear:

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

I supposed they paid for Timothy’s treatment in Martinique also; that is some so called minister of health!

That man is supposed to ensure that the our hospitals are equip to handle every and all emergency’s, however when he experienced a slight stroke, the man fled to Martinique, he entrusted his life to a foreign medical system, rather than risking his life in the medical institution of which he is the head!

After one suffer a slight stroke as he probably had there is not much that can be done, except to treat it with some blood thinners like aspirins. We now have some more effective blood thinners that are utilized, in addition to physical therapy (physiotherapy); which may involve speech in the event the victim loses their ability to speak properly.

If he had to go to Martinique to be treated with blood thinners, and perhaps treated intravenously with some sodium chloride, that tells me our medical system is in a worst shape than we can imagine

In view of the fact he ran to Martinique proves that he has no confidence in the medical system in our country of which he is the head. No wonder so many people have gone into that hospital, be it by walking in, or on a gurney by Ambulance, they come out feet first and not breathing.

Princes Margaret Hospital, is a place where people young or old go to die when they suffer any form of medical problem, or emergency. My niece Vava, is the most recent example, and as of yesterday, an autopsy has not yet performed in order to find out the official cause of her death.

A very sad place is Dominica!

It is unfortunate that after such a great job, they want to replace you with a failed ex Mayor. In my opinion , the best Labor Candidate for the Goodwill Constituency is Mrs. Irene John.

That Timothy is so lie it is not funny; all of a sudden twenty seven children from Dominica came to the United States, and under went all sorts of surgery, and nobody in Dominica ever talk about such assistance.

Maybe he had forgotten to get on DBS or Krazy T Radio, and informed his supporters of the so sick twenty-seven. How come he has not named any of the twenty-seven children.

All right Timothy; if you claim the children came to the United States, to have the surgery, I am Francisco Telemaque, and I am demanding that you inform me; give me the name of a single medical institution in the United States where you sent a sick child to have plastic surgery, or any neurological surgery, and the name of the child so that I can go to the hospital, and verify your claims are true.

Or maybe I can retain an investigator, who can investigate your claim in any part of the country. Let me inform you that a guy from Grand Bay had some surgery here in California, and there were Dominicans soliciting money from people in his name claiming the money was to pay a certain hospital here in Los Angeles, they made a mistake in asking for money via the Internet. Kid Francisco got up and went to the hospital to the appropriate source, and found out the Grand Bay boy owed the hospital not one dime.

So, be careful now, you do not stay in Dominica, and talk a lot of lies and crap to suit your political purpose, because if I so desire, I can check into all you said, and if I confirm you a liar in the process it will be an embarrassment to you!

You can vindicate yourself from these lies I believe you are telling through your teeth, by simply disclosing at least two or three names of the twenty-seven children you claimed you helped with pediatrics!

You partnered with which, and what world pediatric project? Were is this organization headquarters located? If you came her e and said you partnered with an organization such as Doctors Without Boards, to me you would have sound more credible, because we are family with the work they do, and they do it for free, it would not have cost Dominica one dime!

Again give us the address and location of World Pediatric Project so that we may research this organization.

He isn’t lying that WPP has helped and are helping children in Dominica because my son is alive today because of them. However Timothy is talking like it’s a government initiative but it isn’t…We could not get any assistance from the government to send him to Martinique or Barbados However after crying to Dr. McIntyre she got through to WPP and we were able to receive assistance. The government has no role to play with the WPP they may now want to come on board to reap points which I don’t agree with because it would now take the turn of who red gets priority and who blue, green and yellow wait til the reds get their turn. But the World Pediatric Project is doing a wonderful job helping Caribbean people so my advice is any mom who struggling with a child who needs heart surgery make an appointment with Dr. McIntyre and ask her about WPP.

What is the name of your Child and what is your name. Unless you are a liar, helping to spread Timothy’s propaganda, let us know your name, disclose your and the name of your child, prove him not to be a liar, by telling us in which this so called WPP is headquartered.

And the funds they used to help you and Timothy, from what source it came. If you want to appear credible in a situation like this; state your name, let us know who you are. You keep talking about McIntyre as if he is some god, who the hell is he?

He is nothing more than another damn liar, like all the rest!

Mr. Timothy what about the instruments for audiology for testing the hearing capabilities of babies. So many of our babies being born and are not screened for these which leaves a very small window for corrective surgery.

Timothy told parliament last week of the total amount of children, 27 needed surgical interventions including neurosurgery, plastic surgery.

    Some questions for Mr. Timothy:
    1. Of that 27 how many were boys and how many were girls?
    2. Can the minister assure us that they (especially those girls) were indeed seen by a certified Medical Doctor and that they were not taken care of by any one that is paid by tax payers to keep our children safe?
    3. The minister also said that service was of no cost to tax payers. Based on that information, can the minister also assure us that by ‘No cost’ he meant in terms of money but does not mean other form of payments?

if they spent all that money on health care why did little children and toodlers had to remain in the casualty for over 10 hours just to receive a shot to depress the effect of the mosquito plague..
