CIBC FIRSTCARIBBEAN appoints New Manager for Retail Banking and Operations

CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stephen Lander to the role of Manager Retail Banking and Operations.

Stephen, whose appointment took effect November 16, succeeds Mrs Marie-Therese Winston Charles.

Stephen brings to CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank expertise in banking, financial management, investment management, risk management, project management, and accounting. His banking experience spans commercial, regulatory, and development applications in the local and regional markets.

In welcoming Stephen to his new role, Country Head, Stephane Burke noted that the bank was eagerly looking forward to the sharing of knowledge. “Stephen has joined us at an important time in our development and we are confident in his ability to lead CIBC FirstCaribbean Dominica through the present economic environment and beyond.

The new Retail Manager observed, this is an excellent opportunity to leverage the CIBC FirstCaribbean Brand with a view to becoming the market leader in Dominica. We intend to lead the delivery of unparalleled customer service and build enduring client relationships both now and in the future.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Economics and is a Qualified Financial Advisor.

    Does that mean he dumped aid bank ?

      So when someone changes jobs, does it have to be because they are dumped? Why do you need to know anyway? Why can’t we just be happy for somebody? He was not dumped by Aid Bank. He left and went to his new position. He will be missed by Aid Bank I am sure because he is a brilliant young man.

        Who said anything about he being fired. I really doubt my padner was fired, Read again…I asked if HE dumped aid bank(and clearly he did) but going by your comprehension skills….seems you work at the *** bank.
