This is a beautiful picture of her. Note her beauty and smile; not to be mistaken that she was a disciplined person who exercised her obligations seriously. :)
You have been a blessing to Dominica and the Dominica government when you were then employed, performing your duties diligently and perfectly.
I feel proud as a fellow Dominican to read of your excellent attributes and how well, in also a ladylike manner you conducted yourself in the service of Dominica and to all whom you interacted with. Dominica has produced some great people as you and will continue to do so. You must be emulated for the betterment of the country.
It must not only be said that people as her are non to be found in this era in Dominica. She left a legacy to be emulated. I am certain she would be pleased if her mannerisms, style of deportment and work ethics would be adopted by everyone and always, especially by the youths who are up and coming adults of tomorrow.
Her life was well-lived also in dignity, harmony and peace with all those whom she personally knew and encountered. There is no doubt that those who predeceased her would vouch for her.
Sorry I am not in D/ca to attend her Funeral but I will be present in spirit and thinking of her relatives and mourners who will be present. I will remember you in spirit and prayers.
Au revoir Marie Davis Pierre. Your job on earth was well done and you are now resting from your works, a well-deserved rest. With the grace of God, we hope to meet you and reunite someday in heavenly eternity.
Once again, my deepest sympathy to her sister (I heard she is not well), to Jennifer, Melvin, Francis and other nieces, nephews, grands and other relatives. I know God is sustaining you and strengthening you at this time. God bless all of you!

I shall pass through this world but once. If therefore, there be any good thing I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow-man, let me do it now. Let me not defer it nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. So help me God!

My condolences to her family on their loss. We do not have that mettle of individuals these days. She gave sterling contribution in the Arts and in the area of governance. Marie Davis Pierre served the people of Dominica well.
