A Dominican is now acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Clement Joseph a native of Marigot, who has been working in the Islands for the past years was given the acting appointment by the Islands acting Governor Anya Williams.
Joseph is the holder of LLM; LLB (Hons); LEC; BSc and worked in the office of the DPP in Dominica under the guidance of then DPP the late Gene Pestaina.
He is also a former police officer in Dominica.
He views his acting appointment as “testimony of his hard work and dedication.”
“I will continue to strive hard to do my work honestly and fairly and I have no doubts that I will be justly rewarded,” he said.
Jo the sky is the limit and only you can keep your self down well done
Bro, i am very proud of you. You have always been a serious guy. i can remember the many lectures you gave me and although your padner Pestina and i were always at war you never made it your problem. I am happy that man can emulate someone in that rapid succession ion the same capacity that he help. It is men like you who make other men proud of their fellow men and country. Good Job my brother in arms….let the legacy continue..
congratulation my partner.
Guess they are paying you well aye? Pity you couldn’t do your patriot thing and come back to Dominica to give them hell for destroying the life – totally – of an elderly distinguished Dominican – GON Emanuel.
Do your research man. Our great leader doesn’t want upstanding justices. The politicians rather put people they can control in the police force and the judicial system. A prophet is never honored in his own home. Neither are some police I suspect.
Congratulations Mr. Clement Joseph, you have made great contributions to the TCI and I believe you will continue to do so. THANK YOU!
Congratulations Mr. Joseph
My Brotha. Congratulations. I can remember we went to Dominica Grammar School together back in the early days and you were always untop of your game and serious. This is great news. Continue the good work and may JAH BLESS. Nuff tings ahhhh Gwaaaan. Dunn Know !!!!
Great job comrade
Congratulations, and continued blessings on the journey to removal of the “acting” title.
The marigot greatness has once again manifest itself.. no matter bow much you people try to keep us down we will keep rising..
Congratulations sir!
You all are u all own enemy. No one is trying to keep u all down. We gave u all a little taste of Governance and u all came telling us in our face “I AM INCHARGE” well we show and will continue to show u all God is in charge.
Clement u can do ur job well wen u not against Skerrit.
While I have some level of respect for u I will be a human and congratulate you in all ur strives. But u disappointed me wen u made the foolish comment u made Lennox Sikiri and Nicholas George was charge for the Fed 7th D-DAY evil in Roseau.
I expected you to use ur knowledge and experience to educate the public but u chose to cloud you mind with political biasness.
I think u damage the credibility of ur profession by dis comment.
Having said dis I wish u well & hope u don’t repeat ur nonsense again by trying to insult D/cans intelligence wit ur political interpretation of the law when the powers dat be acted within the confines of the law.
God bless you sir and the ppl of marigot
who the hell care what you think. idiot
Well done my brother. Happy that island not like ours where top appointments and good positions are not awarded on political affiliation or family ties. You got this because you deserve it well done
Dear Director of Public Prosecution in Turks and Caicos you do honor to Dominica by your proven excellence in law practice. You have not dishonored your island by being a wretched vendor of Dominica passports like some loser lawyers on island, nor have you behaved like the Senior Clown on radio who has destroyed rule of law on Dominica by his perverse and profane verbal offal. We are inspired by the work of honest lawyers like the Honorable Judge in Canada and the brilliant US lawyer in DC area who are examples of law practice in the public interest and who never forget the best part of our common heritage is the brain and not the bottom of the pile. Go well Sir and may the criminals in high and low places shiver at the sight of your justice dispensing pen. God bless!
Congratulations to all the people of Dominica at home and those outside especially to the MARIGOT people we are so very proud of him.. Big up to Mr. Clement Joseph I pray that God will keep taking you higher and higher thru it all.
One more son making Marigot proud again. Congratulations Clement Joseph. We in Marigot and Dominica wish you all the best in your new appointment. Blessings to you.
Congrats bro hard work and prayer
Kudos to you countryman. This brings to mind the phrase; “A prophet is never accepted by his own people”. Hang tight brother and may god bless you. I am very hopeful that you will be back in Dca some day to serve your people. Alpe taught you well .
Assertive like the rod of Moses!
Congratulations!!! no doubt hard work pays off, regardless of where it is being performed. as customary, sometimes a king has no honor in his own country. Brain Drain due to all sorts of issues. The skiy is the limit Comrade, make us proud, and lock it in at the end of your acting stint.
And they CANNOT keep a GOOD MAN DOWN! Go with Jehovah brother man. God bless you and keep you. Represent ALL OF US, not only MARIGOT represent DOMINICA, and do it, as you said FAIRLY without FAVOUR.
CONGRATULATIONS Clement on your appointment to the position of acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
As a former classmate I salute your achievement. I pray success and that you continue to serve with diligence, tenacity and purposefulness towards justice that ought to invariably come with the exigent nature of the DPP’s office. Success again.
Congratulations are in order for a son of the soil.
A hard worker is a hard worker no matter where he may travel. keep on striving fro higher heights thereby making yourself, family, friends and country proud!
