You should know once a person is dead there is no more life. It is usually said, the remains and not the body. The casket, hearse contains the remains. . . . The remains are placed . . You should also know in order to prepare it for traveling and subsequently burial, the body is drained of all the internal parts as also blood. This is embalming. Therefore, in effect, it is the remains.
The word, remains sound strange. However, do not take this as being disrespectful. The same will be said for each one of us who are still living when that time arrives.

   I like that! You really made me laugh.   I explained it as best as I could according to my Catholic faith and knowledge.
Limbo itself is questionable. It was stated that babies that were not baptized go there because they were innocent. Well, one day we will find out. God will reveal the truth of all our questions and the doubts and denials of some.
Let us do our utmost to give him his dues according to the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ and that of the Church. Be also kind to all in word and deed. It is in the Bible!
        God bless you!

God knows. His soul already knows. We hope that He will go to Heaven. God is the judge.
If you know Holy Scripture, Our Lord said, “Those who believe in him will not be put to shame.” This means they will not go to Hell.
I am a Catholic and I believe what the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church believes and teaches. God created Purgatory (a Dogma of the Catholic Church) that souls He has forgiven of their earthly sins/frailties will make atonement for whatever time it takes based on their frailties.
People do not die in perfection with a perfect soul. I could site many instances. Furthermore, during life, we do not merely say God forgive me and assume that we are forgiven.
Do we say it with a humble and contrite heart and vow never to offend him anymore? We only have to read Holy Scriptures of especially the New Testament to know how much we offend God daily or every second of the day. There are the little things we do not see as God sees which offend him.

Atonement, restitution in the form of penance and sacrifice must be made to appease God. Some people do not believe that but it is so. If you are a Catholic as I and you read messages of Our Lord and Our Lady, you will know that we are asked to pray for the departed souls. If they are in Purgatory they will get the merit of those prayers.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Only those who obey His (Our) Heavenly Father’s Will, will enter his Kingdom. There are conditions for entering Heaven.
We do not get to Heaven and faster by renouncing our Catholic faith, our baptism in it and joining another church and being baptized in it. We should know that St. Paul said, “There is one baptism.” I could elaborate more on this.
If you are a Catholic as I and you read messages of Our Lord and Our Lady to the visionaries, you will know that.

Last but not least – Oh! I love this topic. When the opportunity arises, I also love talking about my Catholic faith, its Dogmas and Devotions. There is so much to state and explain.
There are books written by learned and inspired Catholics, both departed and alive. I plan to write my own without deviating from Catholic teaching.
It is consoling that God is love, compassionate, merciful and forgiving and that He created Purgatory, giving souls “who did not reject him even at that last minute”, one last chance to be saved. It is said when we die, we will truly know the love of God. . .
The finality of it all, God is the Judge. No one on earth has the authority to say where in eternity the soul is.
Another matter, we do not know what transpired between God and the soul when it made the transition from life to death. I always hope the soul is in Purgatory, making atonement.
      Hope you get an idea.
Ask yourself, where do you hope to go when you die?

It is a sad and somber day in Dominica, noting the dignitaries and uniformed Police welcoming back home, with class and dignity, a devoted son of the soil.

Welcome back home, Dr. N. Liverpool. This was not what we Dominican mortals had visualized and planned for you but “Man proposes and God disposes”, He who knows more than we do.
As preparations are being made to take him to his final resting place, may God grant and cover his dear wife Verna and other members of his family strength to the end.
To all D/cans and others, also abroad who knew him, loved him as a brother, worked with him and associated with him, as I have extended my sympathy to his dear wife and family, I also extend my sympathy to you. Be comforted with the love of God.
