Nanthan resigns as President of the DCA

Emanuel Nanthan tendered his resignation with immediate effect

Emmanuel Nanthan, the man who has been at the helm of the Dominica Cricket Association (DCA) for the past decade, has tendered his resignation effective immediately.

Nanthan is also Vice President of the West Indies Cricket Board, a post he has held for the past five years.

According to PRO of the DCA Augustine “Beno” Pascal, Nanthan said given his “heavy work commitments he was unable to continue in the post.”

As a result, Glen Joseph, who was the First Vice President of the DCA, now assumes the post of President, while Kevin James, who was the Second Vice President, has taken up the mantle of First Vice President.

Pascal also indicated that Clement Marcellin a committee member was elevated to the post of Second Vice President.

  4. making millions inj selling passports

I always wondered how Nanton, President of the Dominica cricket Association,, had any moral authority to discipline cricketers, to uplift cricket and the game, when he was hand-picked to be CEO of selling Passports, without meeting the criteria or qualifications for the post.

Again, the issues of selling of our passports have been extremely controversial and opaque. Only a selected few are getting wealthy, selling our and CARICOM passports to all and sundry. Our DIPLOMATIC passports and immunity have also been sold to crooks, money-launderers, criminals, facing jail terms. The links with and company of MONFARED, that famous Iranian National, is plain to see and read about. the photos of Nanton with those culprits tell us a lot. Yet the rest of the DCA still cooperated with him all those times. Cricket, the DCA, were going nowhere. Nanton now, more than ever, is more interested in Selling our Passports. Millions upon millions are to be amassed. DA sports dying.

More of the same political propaganda about the sale of passports. The issue of the sale of passports have been made controversial by the UWP in their relentless quest to get rid of Skeritt by any means necessary. According to Sam Raphael former associate of the UWP, the UWP received millons of dollars from individuals to whom they had promised diplomatic passports. These individuals never received these passports as the UWP lost the election. You and the UWP knows all about the sale of diplomatic passports.

No big change for our RED cricket Board. No difference between Glen and Mano. It’s just another Vielle case take over, which makes more sense since Nanthan was from Possie. So what we have right now is, the PM -Vielle case, police commissioner-Viellecase, Labor commissioner – Vielle case, president of football- Viellecase, president of cricket viellecase. Charles Saverin look out because we coming for you next time because we want our boy “Swallow” as president of Dominica. Welcome on board Glen hope Rudy or BJ or even Thomas becomes the new secretary.

@ittassi run things. You think they will replace Chalo with Swallow? I agree Saverin will be replaced by Skerrit but I more believe is Rikkie that will be his successor
