A 45-year-old man from St. Joseph says he has stopped driving at nights because he is always meeting an old lady trying to cross the road on the Layou highway.
“Night rides done for me… I tired see that old lady… why she waiting on me to come to cross?” asked the bewildered man.

I have a friend who told me that she see’s ghost all the time in the states,pp crosing the road,some that were hanged,etc. it’s a gift don’t be scared just ask God to protect u, and he will.
The layou plantation is where the slaves lives before. If you read the history of the layou plantation you would know there was a grave side there.

The lady in question …hmmm quite strange huh? I am out of the country at the moment. But what you need to do is go to the man that owns the plantation around the layou river area…if he is not dead ask him if he knows of a woman dying in the area. His name is Pat. I dont think he is dead yet. He will be glad to help you if he is still alive that is… Second advice ask the older folks they might let out an unkown secret of the younger days ( when you were young) something might have transpired then. Oh no, it might be the Haitians, who according to many contributors to this website, are the most evil people in the world. Three scenarios here 1) She died a violent and sudden death where her Soul was jolted out of here body. 2) She was very materialistic and is attached to the Earth. 3) She has unfinished business and refused to cross over. Most often they are not aware of their death and they go on believing that they’re still alive. She probably died in an accident whilst crossing the street.
