A homeless man was reportedly attacked in Roseau and hot water was thrown on him and the police now say they have a suspect in the matter.
The man, Andy Carbon, known as ‘Push Up’ from Boetica, was attacked on Wednesday, according to eyewitnesses.
He has now been hospitalized.
The eyewitnesses said Carbon was standing outside a restaurant in Roseau when an employee came out with a yellow container filled with hot water and threw it on him.
Carbon is now suffering from burns on his back.
Police PRO Pellam Jno Baptiste said there is a suspect in the matter.
He stated that around 5:30 pm on Thursday, June 30, the police responded to information which suggested that Carbon, 32, was burnt with an unknown substance.
“His mother, Agatha Theophile, of High Street in Roseau was issued a medical examination form on his behalf,” Jno Baptiste said. “By that time the police had already secured the assistance of the Fire and Ambulance Services and Carbon was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital where he was examined by a medical doctor and discharged.”
He said investigations are ongoing.
Many Dominicans have taken to social media to condemn the attack. Many have called on the police to investigate the matter.
This is not the first time Carbon has suffered a similar fate in Roseau.
Last year he was hospitalized with rectal prolapse after he was attacked.
Rectal prolapse occurs when part or all of the wall of the rectum slides out of place, sometimes sticking out of the anus, according to WebMD.

No one is above the Law, this person should be made an example of. I don’t care if their family is part of the cabinet or is in power. If the person was killed would she not be arrested. I would encourage the family to sue. This boys now have scares that can never be removed.
Why not offer him food, or call the police.
I am praying that this business close, the person get arrest and the law prevail. I will not purchase anything in this restaurant.
Two men were walking down Old St. on a sultry day in Roseau as is often the case when they came upon a pitiable being standing in the middle of the road with his hand out stretched and as the man to the left of him passed by saying to himself,” Hum….I wonder if he is a Red”, just as the man to his right passed mumbling under his breath ” looks a little Blue to me” , and as they both avoided him with their noses stuck up in the air the beleaguered man said to them God Bless You as the went about their business. I
have often heard it said, that we must be careful because the person that we meet on our way up just may be the same person that we must pass by on our way down, this is what I have heard. But the one thing that I do know is that we are all Dominicans, and just what does it mean to be Dominican ” all for one, and one for all”, really that is what separates us from everyone else on the planet.
Andy is one of us and we have to accept that. Continued next post.
If you can find it in your hearts to pray for Andy and the others that are less fortunate than us other Dominicans, then do so and when you can, that is when your conditions warrant it will you think about sharing your humanity and your humility with them whenever and wherever that maybe and please pray for Andy’s recovery and the recovery of the others that are as much Dominican as you. So that you will never ever be intimidated by a poor helpless man that can not fend for himself again. Thank you.

MR. Carbon! when the person asked you to leave because you are annoying her customers why did you stay? If you had left this would not have happen to you. IN situation like this one must remain calm, polite and stay in control. loosing your temper and regret afterwards. according to comments ,vagrancy is acceptable, I am saying no, the vagrants can see, hear, walk and understand, so you talk to them in a manner they will understand, make time for them, listen to them, make them feel important and don’t run them down so as to hurt heir feelings. Love concurs all.
the president should call for a boycott.rememder brisbane. wher is big mouth…………?
the one in charge of the goodwill catholic church shoul call the police anve her arrested.what do you think mal zaye
No body cares only looking for some one to blame. A man living half his age is at the corner of the street begging. Relatives could have reported the matter to social services, they did not, The police on patrol in the street of Roseau must have seen the man and did nothing.Hey! you loitering with intent if I see you here again I will arrest you and take you to the station, they did nothing. Some claimed he is very demanding and aggressive. SOME cold water could have done the trick. Hot oil was an accident. Relatives suppose to be looking out for each other, Where were they? A COUNTRY WITH NO LOVE.
Andy, I know him. Every time that I would come to town I would look for him to buy him a bread or give him a coin, my heart is heavy. Dominicans I besiege you, return to the ways of your forefathers the ancestors, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, and above all LOVE ye one another.
I remember the article of what occurred to him last year. Thank God he recovered. he perpetrator(s) were not caught.
Now this. It is upsetting to see the burns. The poor man. At least the police knows where it occurred and who burned him. I visualize a law suit is looming. The mother should do so on his behalf. This person should not get away with this.
If he was trespassing or is standing in front of the restaurant, why not call the police to ask him to leave and not return? Why did you have to take it into your hands and throw hot water on him?
This person did not think twice to do something as heartless as that. The one who did this heinous act should not be employed in a restaurant of all places and deserves to be fired. Hope that employee is arrested and charged.
Those who harm others, insult them by also utilizing derogatory words in any manner and try to rob them of their dignity, privilege and right are inhumane and godless.
What lawsuit?? Stupes. If there is a lawsuit and his mother wins. Who do you really think going to benefit.
Not because some people are homeless and mentally challenged that they are inhuman
The bad you do the people will follow you
Some people to wicked
Stop abusing vagrants they were once normal people like me and you
You never know where you will end up.
I don’t know this woman, and I don’t know this man… but it’s obvious that the lady got fed up and tried to get this man off her property, all you probably passing him in town everyday sitting down on the person step and not saying nothing because he not on all you step, he not on all you property so all you don’t care, so dominicans be once it not bothering them is not their business. I meet paros bursting garbage in town people passing them straight NOT TELLING THEM A WORD! Is the person that living there that have to get up and make them go because is their place that will stink up after everybody go home.
You got it brother. All these bleeding hearts don’t shed a drop when it’s up close.
Here is what needs to happen:
– first and foremost medical care for Andy
– arrest and charge the person who did this
– immediately terminate this employee
– if the employee is not terminated, boycott the restaurant
Too much talking……………..action speaks louder than words
I for certain will not patronize that restaurant anymore…
i cannot bring my dollar to this heartless place.
It is a real shame and disgrace. Dominicans should boycott that particular restaurant as a sign of protest and civil society and its leaders should stage a protest outside that particular restaurant for at least one morning to cry out the injustice meted out to the individual and to bring urgency to the vagrancy crisis that government – one man – will do something. I for one would be willing to be there. The facts are already beginning to be contorted. The proprietor…. now an employer. Who ever Mr. CID, at least let us see that justice seems to be done.
God help us …..it is not because he’s a vagrant or an addict . He is a person like everyone else. This person would not treat a dog in that manner so why do this to him. Full payment of the medical bills should be made by the proprietor of the business. Whether it’s Mr or Mrs So and So is no reason for this to go unpunished. What we don’t want for ourselves we shouldn’t do to another .
Some rehabilitation center should be erected to house these people. It’s not just for government to do but everyone who has a stake…..the government officials of the different ministries as well as the Parl Rep: come up with a viable plan and do something and stop talking. Now is time for action.
But God will judge that proprietor, the employee which ever one if the law of this land does nothing. Punishment is for everyone who has done wrong and not just some but ALL no matter the social status.
You can do the crime, you can do the time.
Everytime I visit Dominica I always go here to eat wel sa am done eating here.the person who did that u should be fired immediately but I want the law to close down this place.how can u do this to a human.the time u take to boil water u could have bring him a bit of food from the back, alas Andy I don’t know u but I will keep u in my prayer
A tooth for an eye. Burn her *** with hot toloma
that one take me…i totally agree with u becus when tolama hot it hot eh..lol
Whoever did this is heartless his infront but theirs might be worst. This employee should be fired. When I wsa hungry you gave me to eat whatsover you do to the list of my brothers that you do unto me.
The same with unbecoming comments on this Website.
BEFORE HE WAS HOMELESS, HE WAS HUMAN
SO WHEN ONE BECOMES HOMELESS ONE AUTOMATICALLY BECOME SUBHUMAN CONCERNED CITIZEN?
SAQWAY SORT!
So he’s homeless now….isn’t he still human?
Isn’t he still human? ?????? Being homeless doesn’t mean you are not human.
Isn’t he still human…? Lmfao Dumbnicans at it again
He is homeless and is still human. His humanity was not taken away from him because he is poor. He is God’s created child.
Whether he is homeless, he deserves respect as any other who is not homeless. There is no exception. Furthermore, our God expects this of us.
God hears and sees. He is patient. People will pay for their evil actions also in words.
Pray for the poor.
Concern Citizen : He is still Human, both before and after homelessness. Whether he is homeless before or after, it’s not the issue though. The issue is no one deserves to to Iilltreated whether they are homeless or not. But I do understand what you may want to say. But can his mother help with the homelessness, even by seeking mental health treatment fir him. Why didn’t the restaurant feed him instead of terrorising him? What a shame! .
Hmm.. An employee of a restaurant. Least she should have done give him food. He would leave, some people are too heartless. God is not a police her turn will come one day… Do good, good will live with u…
I don’t believe anything will happen to the perpetrator. Big money will talk, Andy will remain scarred for life. The restaurant will continue to make money, politics will play its part. The perpetrator will still continue to work at the restaurant. Big names will be protected and in a year’s time everything will be back to normal and life goes on. Thank you DNO and Mas in the Cemetery for being fearless.
Give the name of the restaurant so that I may boycott it.
Well, let me say I will not eat at the airport restaurant again. The menu poor and expensive anyway.
I understand their main business is catering service , especially for govt. functions so boycotting the restaurant may not hurt them very much and they can concentrate on their catering business instead.
Push Up is a pain in the a……. however, by offering him a meal you can get him to do anything, like get away from the restaurant. He will leave if you feed him. All she had to do was feed him. That’s just too wicked. If everyone of us adopt a vagrant, Dominica will be better off.
“He will leave if you feed him.” That’s counterproductive because he will come back if you feed him… Also why do you act as if this lady is obligated to feed the man? Is she his mother? Did she put him in that situation? The answer is No, No, No!
You are so full of it! Disgusting self.
The employee did not realize that God tested his/her generosity? This person failed.
Let it be known that God is saddened and frowned on the wicked action of the employee. What will be that person’s lot in future? God knows!
Yall cya say dem cops working for the bourgeoisie alone
Dominicans too damn wicked!!!!
When you state “Dominicans” you are placing all of them in one basket. Surely, you should know they are not all one and the same in especially wicked attitude, be it in words or in actions. You need to retract your words.
This issue of vagrancy harassment needs to be dealt with. Not supporting the person who committed the offense, but people are frustrated with these eyesores harassing everyone. The other day Mabel take my cocoa tea and drink as i turn my back to pick up a coin that fall. thankfully the place i bought it from gave me another one after shooing her from the place like an unwanted pet. everyone laughed but it was a matter of concern for the owner of the business. Last night i watched a paro get knocked out and dragged to the entrance of a bar for harassing customers at a bar in the Roseau Market. Mister PM and Minister of Tourism and Minister of National Security, yes they have rights, they are people too, but these people are not contributing to society, not paying taxes, not doing any social services or justices to the Dominican Society. we need to address the situation for their safety as well as ours.
Are you saying that’s the way to handle this situation? this behavior has to stop towards the homeless/paro in Dominica they are people just like us.
For further information, someone recently told me of a St. Lucian lady who had some bags of groceries and was waiting on the side of the street for her husband to pick her up. A man came along and grabbed one of them, saying to her, “It is not fair that you should have so many grocery bags. He walked away with it.
This occurred in Toronto some years ago. I was informed the lady has since passed away.
I was shocked that someone would have done that. Some people are bold and non-caring.
The lady came from work and went to the grocery, purchased her items for her, her husband and family and this occurred. You can imagine how shocked she was. This goes to show every country has such problems or similar ones. The stories are many.
He didnt suggest anyway to handle the situation. He only shed light on how they are affecting us and we are treating them. Then called for the government to do something about it.
Remember they were babies and probably were loved and were lovable ones at that. What happened to cause them to live such a lifestyle? It must be looked into, their life as youths and older, getting down to the depth and source of it.
How were they nurtured? How did this happen to them? Did they ever attend school? As that woman, Mabel, it is obvious she does not know better. Otherwise she would not have done that.
Education is the key to hopefully acquiring common sense and consideration for others and utilizing them. If they do not possess them, they are not able to practice them. This is the problem.
The comment below: “For further information . . .” was meant as a continuation to my comment for, “For Dominica.” I wonder what happened.
Lazarus and the Rich Man…….Lazarus the beggar died and rested in the bosom of Abraham – the rich man died and in hell he opened up his eyes and asked that Lazarus dip his finger in water to quench his thirst.
Please Lord Jesus deliver Dominica speedily! If you can find 3 individuals who are praying on behalf of the Island do not allow the Island to perish like Sodom and Gomorrah.
For the sake of the elderly, the poor, the downtrodden, the homeless, the helpless, and the innocent children, send those who will pray and pray fervently over Dominica. If you can use me Lord Jesus I am willing to see that Dominica rise from the ashes underneath which she is being submerged in right now.
Why would people do that? Huh? I mean come on he’s a human being just like any one of us. No one wants to be wet with “Hot water” Not even cold but hot. Even if they are homeless they shouldn’t be treated in these kind of manner, they gain equal rights as we normal, working citizens do. As a teenager, I think that some reform or measure should be taken place by people who are capable or have the capacity to do something about the vagrants. Its time that something should be done
What goes around comes around. People need to stop abusing the homeless and mentally ill on the streets. I wonder if the person who did that have any children.
If he did something wrong, there are many other ways that you could have dealt with the situation than burning him. I am sure that evil person would not want someone to do that to his/her child.
I think the police need to do a psychiatric evaluation on that person because that person must be mentally ill or just plain evil.
Matthew 7:12 – The Golden Rule – Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the Law and the Prophets.
It also pertains to words. Many do not practice it. I have stated, those who harm others will receive what they deserve in time and two-fold. It is better to do good than evil.
You breaking down the house in morne bruce too build a new one, u already have your mansion in vielle case and renting a house in morne daniel for $10,000.00 a month plus building state palace on our backs, but u cannot build a home shelter for the less fortunate. I hate my pm.
John 13:34.35 – The New Commandment – Love – I give you a New Commandment: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
John 14:15 –- Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words, yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.
You do not obey what Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us. How many do so, also in words? This is disobedience and hatred. You will be liable for Gehenna.
This goes for you. You could also do something by initiating it and get others to do likewise for the poor.
You can disagree with a person. It is O.K. to “hate” your P.M.s decisions, lifestyle, or policies. But you are not to hate anybody. This is a negative emotion that will cause other negative emotions and ultimately hurt you. It will cloud your thinking, and impair any good you might have done.
There are people who could tighten their belts and do something to help Mr. Carbon. The government is weighed in the balance and found wanting. In the great judgment day Christ is going to say “… inasmuch as you have not done it unto one the least of these may brothers ye have not done it unto me.” You don’t have to believe the Protestant evangelist. Ask your own parish priest. It is what your church teaches. It is the Word of God You are a fool to ignore it.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
One can understand the manager of the restaurant not wanting a homeless man “loitering” outside their
front door. Sad! This is how the world thinks. But there are better ways to handle the “problem” than this.
The man may have been hungry. I tell you the truth before God. Had I been there and knew he was hungry I would have bought him a meal. Remember who it was who said “…….. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one the least of these my brethren ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Charges should be laid against the employee and the business should be closed until full restitution is made to Mr. Carbon.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
The individual who committed such inhumane act should be fired. If the employer fails to fire this individual then Dominicans should call for a total boycott of this establishment. This individual should then be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But, given the state of Dominica’s laws, this might not mean much. SMH. This is what our Nature Island has come to; A nation being over taken by natural, heartless bruts.
This is just Dominica treatment of the mentally challenged. It tells how much value we place on peoples life. Anytime you have a disability or mental problem in Dominica your life is absolutely miserable. Yes we care.. Hmmm
I am certain not all Dominicans treat them in the same way. What the employee did is somewhat of an exception. No good and concerned employee would do something as that.
The police should have been called and let them deal with it. The police would surely not pour hot water on the man. He would ask him to leave or take him away from there and told him not to return, (and hope) if he could understand the latter..
The employee greatly erred. What was done is a crime/sin against God, humanity and the nation.
My thought is, since there were eye witnesses, we should not now be talking about “that person”and “this person”, the criminal should be identified so that public pressure could be brought on the police to take action, and also that person can be brought to public shame, I don’t care if the person is a family member of mine, if you can do this to a fellow human being who is not attacking you or another, then you should be exposed to public shame, because this may be your next door neighbor, your church sister, and you continue to deal with them, not knowing all along how black their heart is….Give us the name, bring them to public shame
Dominica have a Police force..haha dem man is a disgrace to dominica period, i bet u not one of them man can make a move NOT ONE…
dominica have a bunch of cowards and talkative people that’s all…
they brought this plight on them as they’re known to be docile, dunce and highly ignorant society……dominicans are a waste of time…bunch of illiterates period!!
Another hater!
That’s just messed up. Why?
I hope this woman could sleep at night . One never know when the tables could turn. Her children or grand children could develop mental health problem.
It is a known fact in Dominica that people take advantage of vulnerable people. That same young man is regularly ridiculed hence his nick name push up..
There need to be a day programmes for these people ,he begs and is in your face but that does not warrant burning him.
According to Daddy Chess somebodyhave to pay for that, Wicked and evil persons in Dominica. Chubby said sa moi duvant sa oi deye.
I’m happy to hear about the outrage this incident has caused, I myself do not condone such action by anyone to anyone, but let us put things into perspective here. Does this mean that we mere humans have more love and compassion within us that the “god” many of us pray to and worship? This young guy can be a new sense but he surely does not deserve this. On the other hand we teach our kids and each other that the most loving “god” will BURN us for ETERNITY in HELL if we do not fit into his box of acceptable conduct. Lets open all three of our eyes and think. I wish this guy a speedy recovery and hopes he gets justice.
than the “God”; nuisance.
Know that “God rewards the good and punishes the wicked.” Therefore those who are sane and who were taught this should act appropriately. They offend God when they do not perform what He expects of us. It is a mortal/grievous sin to disobey God, as to also harm our fellow people, be it in words and deeds.
God will not excuse us nor exonerate us for neglecting to do good.
Matthew 5:48 – So be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect.
How many are perfect or excel in this godly virtue?
Thats not right nobody should have to go threw this I would put that employee out side that location and do her the same to see if she likes it heartless am calling on the commissioner of police to order a full investigation in this mater and get justice for this individual this man has a family this is ridiculous and violence against homeless people need a to stop mr commissioner please send a clear message that theses action will not be tolerated .
Instead of burning him with hot water ,why couldn’t you offer him a plate of food? Does the owner condem the employee actions? Did he/ she fired that employee ? If not Your business will never prosper GOD don’t like ugly. I ask all Dominican who frequent this establishment should boycot this place.
YES
He should have been given a plate of food.
The place should be boycotted.
Very few things bring tears to my eyes. But this made me weep.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
There is a frightening degree of wickedness, selfishness and greed which plagues this once peace loving island of Dominica.
SAD,He is a human being. He belongs to a Family.Do good in life, you will see good.Do bad in life ,you will see bad.Get well.
The people need to stand by Andy. Boycott until someone is held accountable for the actions. Protest, picket the place. Do something!
If nothing is done, I say boycott that @#%%^$# place, let them feel the burn.
Yes, yes, yes
If I was there I would shake your hand
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
Why would a human being do that to another being? And why isn’t the police involved in this crime? It is a shame for Dominica. If he was my relative, somebody would pay for their action
i just read…DNO has been reliably informed the police is investigating the matter, what are you all people really reading and commenting on…hearsay or researchable information,it right before your eyes, but right away you making the police look bad.
Forreal
I also noticed that the report said that he has a mother living on High street. Not sure why he is homeless then. Perhaps mentally ill or something? Just asking! Sorry he got treated that way!
Relatives tend to surface in times like these right!
Give the police a chance.
However, the people want to know what the police have done.
As a former licensed Private Investigator under the Province of Ontario in Canada (license number 142306) just after reading the DNO story I can tell you there does not seem to be much to investigate. If somebody did this to a dog in Canada the person would already be in jail or waiting at home under orders not to go anywhere.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
Barbara, the man is an adult. He is over 30 years old. Politicians let him vote but do not take care of him. His mother has no obligation to look after him, the law says so. When he commits a crime it is his responsibility, not his mother’s. Yes, he is a nuisance and there is something not right in his head, so make the Govt. look after him and others like him. They built a stadium that does not pay its way, a State Palace, fisheries complexes that are a waste and cost us money. But there is a Grotto Home behind the State College, sprouting weeds and standing empty. I prefer my tax going tom help these people rather than white elephants.
We always boasting that we are the friendliest and kindest people in the Caribbean but I think we have dark hearts and are very callous and selfish inside. I hope Andy recovers and that Govt. finally make provision for these pitiful homeless. Don’t tell me again they can not do it on their own when they have no problem building a palace for one man and have the lights burning there all night. You think visitors do not notice that huge difference in our attitude? Today I am embarrass to be Dominican.
Be proud to be Dominican.
The commentators are speaking with one voice. They are angry. Whoever did this wicked deed has the whole nation against her (or him). This was not Dominica.
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
Friendliest? It does not appear so for some who comment on this Website. Their insulting and derogatory words give them away.
To most of us this type of behavior is deplorable and difficult to comprehend. There are those among us who appear normal in their ways, they’re usually the one’s pointing the finger at others yet deep down there is hatred in their hearts for themselves so they express it towards others.
You are so correct! If they are not able to communicate amicably, provide their comments/ responses without insulting words, harassment and persecution toward those who comment, they should realize that it is also abuse and bullying.
The link is working fine…the person who did this evil act should pay! She wouldn’t like someone doing that to her child/children, sisters, mother, father, brothers or any other family members! That’s pure wickedness! The police need to intervene and arrest something! I am pissed!
This act off cruelty is akin to attempted murder. How can any right thinking citizen or person peform such a bastardly act on a homeless, non -offending,defenceless bread seeker?.I hope the convictd offender will be dealt the penalty to the full extent of the law. Please do not let political associations interfer with the due process.
He might be less fortunate but he is still human. I hope that woman is charged to the fullest extent! And make her pay for his hospital bills to!
Demons have definitely taken over this country.
How can anyone do this to a child of God? We are made in His image and likeness, no one deserves this inhumane treatment.
I assume that the police are waiting for ‘orders’ to investigate but would not hesitate to arrest a mourner in the cemetery. What have we come to?????
Was a report made? Given his unfortunate situation he might not have made a report and if no report is made there is nothing for the police to investigate and prefer charges. Again we will use this unfortunate incident for political gain paying little attention to the victim. Once the matter no longer has political value he will be forgotten.
The police knew what happened. They saw the burns. If they know who burnt him with hot water, the police should lay charges for it is a crime.
Even though he is incapable of personally lodging a complaint; making a report, it is known what occurred to him. The medical report indicates the extent of his injuries. If his injuries are not properly treated, he could develop gangrene..
Using politics again! If you are a Dominican resident, you can do something about it and help this man.
We cant say this about our country .Certain people are demonic and we have to do our best to stop them. All of Dominica should not pay for someone else demonic act.
Yes
That’s what we have come to as I predicted several years ago when I heard what was coming over the airwaves. In case we have forgotten, we are all children of God even those that we call all those filthy names here on this site and on the radio and other media.
All the curses from our filthy mouths are taking root in our country. When we walk around, let us take a good look at the faces we meet on the street many are tied up in angry knots for no good reason that we can see. Perhaps they are just coming from a dose of mepuis giving on the radio station which is the daily coffee and the evening night cap.
We shall all suffer, I keep saying and moreso our children. You see people have already started screaming hell when they begin to get a dose of their own medicine? You are not supposed to do to them on social media and on radio what they have been doing to so many others for so many years.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you people who were busy giving me thumbs down.
I’m glad you recognize Kairi FM for what it is.
Dominica is FAR gone as we continue to reap the harvest of the “No law no constitution ” speech that only seems to work for some. Last week we saw how a female was arrested at the cemetery, while burying hee mother for a simple thing. But today we read of a restaurant pouring hot water on a human being, since Wednesday, and yet, the police force of some, is yet to arrest anyone? Dominica is far gone, gone, gone.
Dominica is not far gone. It is all in your mind. You place the blame always on the back of the PM.
Setting aside what occurred in the cemetery, the issue is what occurred to the man which was atrocious and a crime.
Some nationals must also blame themselves. What have they done, are doing and plan to do to help their country and the poor? It should not always be talk, talk, talk and criticisms. These contribute to nothing.
That is very sad. How cold can one be?
DNO first you all must revisit the link with the pic again. I do hope that the person will be arrested, despise his condition he should never been treaded like that would the person responsible what that to happen to them, brother, or any family member, he still have right and doing that is violated his right. where is the chief of POLICE AND WHATS BEING DONE TO THAT INDIVIDUAL?
“To Deny people Their Human Rights Is To Challenge Their Very Humanity”
Nelson Mandela
despite; treated, want, has right, violating
Heartless
This is disgusting and horrific. This man is a human being! I hope the person ho committed this crime is arrested and in jail !! This young man, I’ve seen and been harassed by him but he does not deserve this kind of treatment, nobody, even an animal deserves this. Very sad.
Horrible to hear. It can be a nuisance to have deprived homeless persons lurking outside the premises but this is a completely unacceptable and criminally inhumane behavior – to intentionally burn and injure people. I remember this guy, as well as Nick and “Gravity” and have spared him a few coins. His most likely has serious mental issues and should be under the care of trained professionals, not wandering the streets. Not a good publicity stunt for the restaurant I must say and without a doubt a police matter. This is a life threatening attack and if the victim had been a “respectable citizen” the police would not think twice if to charge the attacker.
This is hurtful! I hope the person pays fully!
The responsible party of this attack needs to be charged to the full extent of the law.
Why would anyone do that to another human being? The person that dumped the hot water on Andy is a wicked soul. But for the grace of God, you may be homeless on the street like this man. Heartbreaking
this is inhumane!!!! at the end of the day he is a human being too. we never know our sweet little baby boy or girl, brother, sister, niece, nephew, cousin could one day end up like him. you may not want to share your clothes, money, food etc with him and he might disgust your but burning him like this is heartless!!!!!
The person who did this should be charged. That’s just cruelty.
I went to the Apple ….. to pick apples instead i got prickles and thorns. Why burn the man? Because she can do what she want and get away with it? Because you cater for the people in power, your bon ja????. Prayers Lady, you need prayers. We will pray that your heart is melted and the spirit of the lord covers your soul and being. And the cow boy too aka John wayne.
She or no persons are above the law, she should be held accountable like anyone else catering for the people in power should not make her any different! I do hope that they charge her under the full extend of the law. that’s a shame.
Nah man…after all! shameful, wicked and evil! May God return this evil upon the perpetrator(s). Definitely, the Police need no invitation to arrest.
