According to the information received, the establishment which was robbed is the grocery store, Best Price.

Other pictures which DNO obtained but which are not show here, reveal that the police were able to nab the robbers.

Dominica has become a very lawless and disorganised society over the years. Instead of Dominica going forward, things just messed up. If it’s not drugs, ammunition, killing, robbery, corruption, stealing, disorderly behaviour its some bad news. The other problem, you hardly see police with their guns in town.. Who is keeping an eye on all the foreigners who are all over the place, who knows what they do?
The problem is the government who is slack in every respect. Minister of national security n Roosevelt Skerritt wanna be.. Instead of you all lifting the country, you guys wanna be like the PM. Get on the streets n work for you all money. Dominica got a big crime problem stemming from bad governance n poverty

Of course this had to be a political comment….because in the end it’s the government that tell people to go be thieves, drug dealers, etc…It’s not poverty that cause crime….You all want to be like the better known countries…Jamaica? Trinidad? St Lucia? THE US….Oh not even talking about the US…Dominican children know US culture better than their own. Now look at the level of crime in those so called “more developed” countries….
      …….
      ………
Now have you been to real poor countries? Try travelling and staying in countries for more than a weekend/week…try a couple months.

      STOP making everything Political.

Makes no difference. They will not be convicted for anything. I am betting $2.00 that they will be freed on a legal technicality.

We should commend the police for apprehending these lazy thugs who make their living by robbing people of their hard earned money. I hope these miscreants would be kept incarcerated until they are brought to court to face the pending charges.
Again, kudos to the police for an excellent job. Well done!

Vey good. I must congratulate the police on a job well done. Keep up the excellent work. I also congratulate whoever gave them the heads up about the event. Not sure if its surveillance by the police that led them to capture the culprits. Great job. :-D
