Facebook-banning Pastor admits to threesome with wife and male church assistant

Rev. Miller

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A New Jersey pastor who said Facebook was a “portal to infidelity” and told married church leaders to delete their accounts or resign once testified that he had a three-way sexual relationship with his wife and a male church assistant.

In Saturday editions of the Asbury Park Press, the Rev. Cedric Miller confirmed the testimony he gave in 2003 in a criminal case against the assistant. The relationship had ended by that time, and the case eventually was dismissed.

    @tomahawk in jersey:
    You may receive some good reviews but I totally disagree with you for generalizing. This is no excuse to lambaste those who preach the Gospel and to cease practicing the faith. God is the judge and final judge. We are not God and we are not Him who is the Final Judge.
    There is a problem in the world that people only criticize and lambaste but they do not pray for others and not even for themselves. Some do not practice the faith as well. They may not treat their spouse respectfully.
    When we die, it will be each person and God. He will not be asking us about others unless we have children – how well did we nurture them and did we take good care of them and lead them to Him.
    In the end the accusers may be the condemned. Give this a good thought.

    I know that had some ish… behind it…when I hear on CNN the man asking his followers to get off facebook cuz it helps foster immoral activity and reunites old flames I know I knew is because that ish happened to him…so because he wasn’t strong enought to control himself…

    i always say show me a real truthful christian and ill show u all the thieves,i believe in God,but in the christian thing no,over and over and over again we see where this system have failed people.Its either the preacher is a buggerman,a thief,a whoremonger,have young girls/boys,female preachers staying late in the church or some thing.
    Its all lies.Today christianity is just a going to church thing.The leaders ask for one thing, money.and just a pack of nasty things going on in the churches,and showing off as though they can preach more than anyone else,with a set of stupid stammering when they never stammer otherwise.
    Its time to stop sexing and pretending,lets the girls grow up,let the younger men find other women and go home to your wives and husbands,damn salop.

    Let us just say this man is not a Christian and Lets call him a “Freak”. I still find that act of better “moral taste” or acceptance than a Grown man, let alone a Church leader who prey on little boys like Catholic priests. I just cannot farthom a grown man doing something like that.

    @Looking in from the outside:

    What happened in your neighborhood? The news article simply said that the man is from that area, that is all.

    So what? The man did something of the flesh 7 years ago, but he did not keep it a secret. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”, but that statement does not stop here. The apostle Paul is assuring us that by faith we can have peace (become reconciled with God) because of what Jesus did on our behalf.

    Keep in mind that while the rest of us are using this man’s past to condemn him, he is now living with the peace of God. He now knows the forgiveness of God, because he committed sins in the past. And now that he knows what sin can do, he is trying to advise the rest of us of the dangers of sin, that we might seek repentance for ourselves. Why not take heed of his words? Or else those is without sin, let them cast the first stone.

    That’s why we should put our faith in GOD and not any “religious leaders”

    a good lesson to those of you who put spiritual leaders on a pedestal. Be your own spiritual leader and read and understand for yourself. remember they are human just like you and me with feeling and the ability to choose right from wrong, good from bad etc. so please do not give them so call spiritual leader any more than they deserve, maybe less. they just want your money.

    happens all over thats why the faith is low….the pressure or the feelings has to be vented at some point some where everyone has their inner desires……no need to pretend!!! its the human element the flesh is and will always be weak….
