Obama chides African leaders who cling to power

obama africa

Barack Obama has chided African leaders who refuse to give up power in his first speech at the African Union headquarters by a US president.

The scolding came in the course of his address on Tuesday in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to the 54-member continental bloc.

“Africa’s democratic progress is also at risk when leaders refuse to step aside when their terms end,” Obama said. “No one should be president for life.”
Obama calls Kenya a success story

Obama said he himself was looking forward to handing over to his successor.

People like Skeritt won’t take anyhting from this message because he wants to remain in power to be the man who oversees all corruption. The President also talked about people having to buy their way to middle men to open businesses and paying civil servants to do the job they are already paid to do anyway! ( Passports? in Registry?, in Treasury? on the Ports? Lawyers making cases go away? The media?)
So we have to ask oursleves , “why is it that Chineses an other overseas people can come to Da and open bussinesses so fast , while the local people have to wiat for papar work for ever!?”
Corruption breeds Coruption, becuase once these guys get the first taste of big money and see how easy it is to pocket big bucks , that diesease is hard to get rid of, untill “We the People,” demand a stop to it.

It’s funny how people here love Obama–except whenever he says anything positive about LGBT rights, as he did in Kenya recently.

To love a man does not necessarily mean that you have to agree with everything he says or does. That is here we are in a blind spot as people, believing that we must agree with the leader, come hell or high water as a token of our love. Some call that mental slavery and I would agree with that.

If Mr. Obama had his way he would turn Kenya AND Dominica into buggerland!

We should thank God for national rulers whose righteous souls are vexed by the behavior of the sodomites. They would like to see a decent world for our great grandchildren to grow up in.

And don’t tell me to stick to my preaching and keep out of politics! This IS my preaching. It is part of my mandate according to 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

Has there ever been an American President in history who has intruded in the affairs of other nations like Mr. Obama :?:

I have watched him use his Secretary of State and then his Ambassadors to try to influence other countries to make changes or do this or that. At the time I thought “Surely, that must be contrary to protocol.” Now I see the President himself admonishing and giving advice to the leaders of foreign nations on how to conduct their affairs.

My wife and I are sometimes invited guests in the homes of friends or even new acquaintances. We talk around the dinner table. Then we sit in their front room and talk. We discuss subjects of mutual interest. But never would we tell them to change anything in their home or family. But in case you haven’t noticed Obama has been doing this lately.

      Continuation…

He would like to see the leaders of certain African nations move on. What is it to him? These are strong men with principles. They believe in traditional values. Obama wants to bring “gay rights” into these nations. He knows as long as such men are in power he doesn’t have a chance! Imagine going into a foreign country and taking advantage of their hospitality by using the occasion to tell them they should drop their anti-buggery laws and legalize same sex marriage! Then on top of that he tells their national leaders not to cling to power. Move on.

Obama will eventually be responsible for corrupting African nations just as he has corrupted his own country and taken it out from under God’s protection. Already the shadow of this man is falling across the Caribbean. Yet he is not satisfied.

People of God we need to pray for our own individual discernment, revival in our churches, and a change of government in the United States.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald…

How delusional can a person be! This small minded religiosity is the bane of the earth. It is a weak or flawed person who cannot grow past the delusion of religion.

Wel, well, well. I listened to great man live on BBC. And our little dictator had the audacity to put himself on an election poster with Obama, saying leadership is everything? Mr. Skerrit, Obama agrees with Lennox Linton that a president should not be in power for more than two consecutive terms and should obey the constitution. Did you hear that? And you are only the Prime Minister, after all.

If a leader thinks they’re the only person who can hold their nation together, then that leader has failed to truly build their country,”

Words of a wise man. I need not add anything to this quote.

Few African “leaders” care very much about their people. They are mostly power hungry strongmen who will cling to power even if it means destroying their country.

Yes bbm I spend ten years in Dominica and fifty years in America, so what is the president to me?

Today I don’t even know if “our”President, Mr.. Savarin is in the country. As they say, he is conspicuous through his absence. Two weeks ago, on a thursday there was medical evacuation from Canefield by the French trauma helicopter to the medical centre in Fort de France. To this day I have hear nothing official about that Could it be the President, someone else?Clearly they would not take care of a common person like that.

Then your comments are not warranted. it would be like me spending 50 yrs in dominica and ten in america talking abt skerrit need to go and tell Obama how to run is country. Point is, Im sure skerrit can tell Obama a few things too. Especially about legalizing gays to get married. Or to stop mindlessly killing innocent people in the middle east in his attempts to wipe out suspected terrorists. Or to stop allowing mining companies from fracking and causing earthquakes. But thats not our business. You are right though, he is your president since you are American. Leave dominican issues to dominicans.

      • August 8, 2015

Mr. Obama only does that in nations where he thinks he can get away with it. In Dominica he would probably be ignored. The President of United States does not like to be ignored.

Obama showed his contempt for the African nations when he brought up the subject of gay rights in spite of the fact that he was asked not to do this. The size of the USA gives him a feeling of superiority in small nations especially in a developing nation. In his mind’s eye he sees them grovelling before him and can’t resist the opportunity to promote his immoral left American liberalism that has brought his own country to the brink.

The majority of Dominicans do not think Mr. Sterrit needs any advice from Obama. Remember they are the ones who returned him to office.

        Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.
