President Barack Obama made history in his inaugural address on Monday when he mentioned the word “gay” and spoke on the issue of gay rights for the first time in a presidential swearing-in speech.
“Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well,” Obama said in his address on the Capitol steps after his swearing in.
He continued, “We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths – that all of us are created equal….”
The speech was highly praised by gay and lesbian groups across the United States.
It was described as “historic” by Brian Ellner, who led the successful campaign to make same sex marriage legal in New York state. “The president placed the fight for gay equality alongside the struggles for women’s equality and civil rights. He made it clear that he would continue to fight for marriage equality because all love is equal,” Ellner said.
“We were honored that the president included Stonewall among the historic events in American history that have made our union stronger,” said Chad Griffin, president of the Human Rights Campaign, one of the largest gay rights organizations.
“Stonewall” refers to a riot and protest over a police raid in June 1969 of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
But not everyone is happy about the president’s speech.
Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow for policy studies at the conservative Family Research Council, said he agrees that while that all people are created equal by God and all people should be treated equally under the law, “the president is implying that some people are created or born gay and I do not believe the evidence supports.”
So tell me this!
You claim to be a christian and you know your book of revelation well. IF so, and you believe “all these things should come to pass and then shall the end come”, why are you so upset at Obama? Based on your beliefs, you should be happy the man gonna get the things done so the end could come.

It is our duty to speak and write the truth without watering it down and denying it. God created babies who grew to adulthood. He did not create homosexuals and lesbians. If you think so, then you can say that he created criminals of whatever nature and murderers. As adults grew up, they developed their character and personality traits, many according to their nurturing; others according to the company they keep. Some of it is hereditary. Therefore, do not blame God for the path you choose. It is obvious that you have not practiced the faith as you should. Your parents may not have shown a good example by bringing you into their faith, on matters of morality and instructing you accordingly. What happens? It is exactly as Our Lord said: “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” Then you go from good to bad as you age.
Yes! God loves us all with no exception. Know that He does not love sin and opposes sin. The fact that two people of the same sex want recognition and equality as two people of the opposite sex, it is ridiculous. It is the worst thing that has happened to the world in this century. They do not consider the bad example which they project to the youth.
Some of our politicians have also contributed to it, by initiating in Legislatures and Parliaments of the world. While ignoring the poverty in their land, the expend much time and energy in discussing this abomination and then legislating it as if it is a good thing for the world. This does not benefit society whatsoever. The majority (of votes) always win. It does not mean that they are correct and have done well for the nation. By no means! They have set the world on a path of sinfulness and destruction, also of souls. They have angered God and will bring down His wrath on them, their endeavors, their household and their family including the nation. Their names are also written in the Book of Damnation for endorsing and instituting immorality in the land.
These people are of the opinion that they have rights to get married. You do not have a right to be recognized and get married for your relationship is abnormal and also goes against the Law of Nature. Your actions are not in accordance with the Christian Faith and the beliefs in this case of those who are not Christians. Your actions create lack of love, peace and division in the world.
The only right you have is to be recognized as a human being, to be accorded your due right and dignity “as only a human being, created by God” and right to a job. Once employed you have the right to fair employment and pay which you are qualified for; also fair housing. These are all your rights which are many.
It is not your right to expect the whole world to approve of your abnormal ways and to encourage and applaud you. It is not your right to want those who oppose your abnormality to shut up and say nothing. If you can loudly proclaim and force your beliefs and actions of your relationship to the world, we can loudly proclaim our opposition to your relationship.
We have as much rights as you have. We cannot go against our godly beliefs, teachings and morals. This is also called freedom of speech which we have a right to. We must not approve of abomination in the land. We cannot sit back, observe and say: “to each his own.” It is our business. This type of immoral action is affecting the world and people of the world. We are the world and children/adults of the world. It is our duty to assist the world, to teach it on matters of morality and righteousness and making it a better, happy and peaceful place to live, bearing in mind that God will judge His people, one way or the other.
In fact, if we remain silent, Our Almighty Father will hold us accountable. Consequently, His punishment will be severe and more so for those who knew better and neglect their godly duty. For, He spoke through the prophets, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, His Blessed Son, through His disciples and missionaries. Today, He speaks through the priests and pastors. He also speaks through us, His people on matters of faith, hope, trust and morality. All these who are godly people are obligated to speak the truth, stand up for it, pass it on and condemn immorality, the latter which is destroying adults and children, their hearts and souls. Their first duty including us, the laity, is to God and to their flock. They must think of the apostles and disciples who stood up for the truth with no fear. They have persevered to the end and received the crown, the prize, their heavenly reward. Our Lord said, “Do not fear. Fear is useless. I am with you.” Be bold, be strong for the Lord thy God is with thee.
Our Lord said, “Those who know (better) and do not do it, it is a sin – The Parable of the Talents and Vigilant and Faithful Servants. In this respect we will be answerable to God if we turn a blind eye and deaf ear and neglect our Christian duties.
Our right is to stand up for the truth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His teachings and morality. To also inform those who act contrary to the Law of God and of Nature and that they have gone astray and are on the path of perdition. Our right is also to pray for them that God will bless and grace them, that He may reveal the truth and enlighten them; that they will turn to God, conform to His Holy Will, pray to him for forgiveness, repentance and follow the godly path which He has set for them and other members of humanity. This will appease our God. If we have done that, in the end as St. Paul, we will confidently say I have done my best, passed the test and won the race, Heaven is my reward. Thanks be to God.
It was so sad to see President Obama sink to an historic low by lending his voice to support the gay agenda in his inaugural address. Because of America’s size and the place it occupies on the world stage the nation is a trend setter in today’s world. Already one of America’s ambassadors while serving abroad has taken the liberty to speak of gay rights and say that incriminating laws against homosexuals should be eliminated. Dominicans seem to get offended and emotional when the subject of gays and lesbians come up for debate. I’ve said it many times in the past, and I will say it again: we are, indeed, hypocrites. We condemn gays but we go to church and we sit and listen to priests (some of whom) are guilty of molesting young boys. The solution by the church….shuffle them around like a deck of cards to another parish and unsuspecting parishoners, only to have them engage in the same conduct and violate young boys. Isn’t that sin too? We pick and choose which sins are an abomination; in my humble opinional, all sin is the same.
Hold your tongue, your speech and your comments. What about your ancestors, your parents and other members of your family? Did they live a godly life? I admire Obama for lifting the spirit of a black man by becoming the first black man to lead one of the greatest nations on earth. I can understand that the cost of cutting a man or woman’s hair should be the same. This is, if they have the same length of hair. In this respect, there has been a lot of discrimination in this respect.
Times have changed. Consider, too that women are now working. Some of them make more money than some men.
In bygone years most women did not work. They stayed at home to care for their children. In those days men got paid more than women for doing the same job. This was discriminating.
During a relevant on-the-job conversation a now former manager informed me that the reason men got paid more than women was because men’s clothing as also shoes cost more than women. In recent times women have lobbied the government to enact such changes.
Nevertheless, those who have relationships with the same gender, for this reason should not be recognized as equals and not allowed to get married. They have no right to be recognized as heterosexual couples. Some politicians/ governments as Obama have it all wrong. They have lost it. I am not impressed by Obama. I would not applaud him for that. On the contrary, I feel sorry for him for propagating same sex relationships and so-called marriage. God will deal with him and such people in time. They will live to regret it and also when they die.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “When He returns to earth, ensure that we are on his right hand side.” Homosexuals and lesbians are out of it. They are presently on the left side. This is, if they continue in this state to death. Be enlightened.
Judge no one only god can judge .

It is an offense to God of all to have such an ungodly parade on the day we should be worshiping Him and spending quiet and visiting time with family and friends, be it at a picnic after giving God his dues by going to church.
The Third Commandment of God is: “Remember Thou Keep Holy the Sabbath Day.”

The drivers are out to make money and they do not care what they do and who they transport. Some of them may not be godly. Even criminals/murderers escape in taxis. Do they refuse to drive them?

Four years ago when Obama assumed the presidency, the first thing he did was to organize a dinner on the grounds of the White House for those so-called gays – who voted for him. They expected pay back. They can applaud him but he is not God. When they die they will not have to answer to him but to God. If Obama’s words/speech did not impress many of us (and there are many serious, genuine Christians of all in America) including the entire world, consider how it did not impress our God.

Obama’s father was a Muslim. His mother was not married to his father. He left her when she was pregnant with Obama. She has a daughter (Obama’s half sister) who resides in Ontario, Canada. His grandparents, now departed, on his mother’s side resided in Hawaii. It is said that he was born in Hawaii or elsewhere in the U.S. This is controversial. He and his mother also resided in Indonesia. It appeared that his mother did not practice any faith especially in her latter years.
