JANUARY 3 – An Indiana woman last night allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a kitchen knife after he would not allow her to view his Facebook page, according to cops.
Maurice Davenport, 22, told police that he “had gotten into a verbal altercation over a Facebook page” with Shemicka McVey, 21, his live-in girlfriend. During the altercation, Davenport suffered a laceration to his left bicep, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.

I am sure that was’nt Mark Zuckerberg (founder of facebook) intentions. It was made like any other social network to connect to friends and family all over the world.. I rememebr when facebook wasnt so hype before. Now people want kill people over fb, and even want turn it into porn sites in d/ca.. I’m sure there’s more to the story than that, de fella must be making all kind of break on facebook, chatting to all kinds of dirty rats. Imagine you in bed waiting for your man to come and warm you hours later you decide to check up on him and he busy in his facebook and playing part making you more vex, i’m not saying stab him but showing him you dont *uck around. LOL put yourself in de woman shoes, all woman want attention from their man and to feel like they as the most important happening in his life. All I can say about this is that young people are the sorriest group of people today. One of the saddest reasons is because they think they are the smartest people in the world and nothing or no one can surpass their level of ” intelligence, wisdom, and understand”. And yet they lack the most significant essence of “knowledge” that a person will ever need to survive Life. It is Intimate Knowledge of God and His ways of Love–not just hearing a few things about God.
“And this is Eternal Life, that they may know You, the One True God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent”. John 17: 3. Intimate knowledge of God means being in Love with Him, to maintain a continuous Love relationship with Him through faith in His Person, Jesus Christ; as His Holy Spirit indwells our soul, to fill us with His fullness–His core; just as a woman who is pregant knows that her baby is alive and well in her womb.
Would that beautiful knowledge and indwelling influence those two young people in this news article–even the parents of a small child–to fight the way they did over facebook information? Not at all!

Don’t blame facebook, because it’s not the problem here. Facebook is not bad, it’s people who are bad. If you don’t put crap out there, no one would have to know. Facebook a a social networking site, but people want to put there whole life history and dirty laundry on it. Use it as a site to communicate with long distance friends and family, sharing the gospel, and as such.

Besides, comminicating with long distance friends or loved ones should be considered intimate, private, or personal; a message to be treasured. It seems distateful to me, to have the world reading my intimate messages to my friends and loved ones abroad. A private email message or letter will do a better job. We embrace creating impressions too much! But that is not an attitude of Love. To me that is the only purpose of facebook–to impress others concerning ourselves.

Well, is that not what the Pastor of the USA was trying to tell us during the summer last year. What was people’s reaction? Many of them used his past, which I am sure he has left behind to move on to Life, to condemn him. People will just have to find out for themselves.
As for me, I have never used facebook, and I have no intentions of starting to use it either. All of those things are ways by which Satan tries to block our path towards Life. And yet we continue to allow him to play hoola hoop with our bodies, our minds, our hearts, and of course, our souls; as we follow him to spiritual death–our eternal separation from God.
