The Government of The Commonwealth of Dominica lends it’s voice in support of global condemnation of the recent missile launch by North Korea.

Prime Minister Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit said in a brief statement today that Dominica was fully supportive of the stance taken by the United Nations Security Council in roundly condemning the action and calling on North Korea to cease violation of agreed codes of security and conduct.

Mr. Skerrit said any such launch or threat of launch, has serious implications for world peace, and the ramifications could be severe for all humanity.

“Long range missiles, rockets, whatever name you wish to ascribe them, is no laughing matter. This is a serious development that calls for global action and reaction‎ to send a clear message to North Korea that the civilized and peace loving world has had enough,” Skerrit said.

“The government of Dominica calls on the members of the United Nations Security Council, the authorities in North Korea and the wider membership of the United Nations, to do all in their power to bring North Korea into conformity with relevant UN resolutions, in particular, and international law in general.”

Hello and good morning my people. Well what a statement by our Prime Minister to condem North Korea but they don’t say anything when South Korea, Israel or Japan does the same thing rather they call it an advancement of their technology. Our Government can’t even build a simple bridge to cross a river but he has time to complain about North Korea. This just show the double standard America and its allies have when it comes to countries that don’t depend on America.

Such irony… however, for what ever it’s worth… congratulations to the government on this move. I guess SKRIT does not want to be left in isolation… it’s not that he loves the west, just trying to be politically correct… but the west is watching you…

Lmao. Who the hell is Dominica to condemn North Korea.

  10. February 8, 2016

The civilized world is grateful to Prime Minister Skerrit and the Commonwealth of Dominica for speaking out against the missile launch in North Korea.

The risks Mr. Skerrit has listed are very valid at least to informed people. These things are the probable results if this strange man is allowed to continue his mad career.

Kim Jong-un simply cannot be trusted. Some people are afraid the man is mentally ill. In the working world there are positions of responsibility that require applicants to undergo psychological evaluations. Unfortunately this is not the case with many federal governments when selecting their national leaders so there are rogue nations and dictatorships.

What the world needs is the gospel of Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 1:16) that can alone change the human heart. I invite your to visit our website:

Be honest Reverend, most of the civilized world don’t know Skerrit exists, and I suspect that is no great loss to them either. Can not be trusted you say and some people are afraid the man is mentally ill. Are you sure you are talking about the leader of N. Korea?

Address Domestic issues and answer questions from your electorate stop trying to run away from them and attach importance to yourself because u are not important. No one cares about your opinion on Global events; first you are from a super tiny Islan and second you are tainted by many allegations of wrong doing which makes you have no credibility.

This reaction from Skerrit is mere diversion from the issues that really matter to us. Why all of a sudden North Korea is important to Dominica’s wellbeing? Come on…

North Korea gets ingredients to produce its nuclear armaments from the develop world, not from countries in the Caribbean area. Also North Korea has no interest in attacking Dominica or other Caribbean country. Therefore Mr Skerritt stop wasting your breath talking about North Korea to sound relevant. Instead address the issues that matter to the lives of Dominicans. We would like for you to stop acting like the leadership of North Korea and not inform us of plans and decisions for the country, and instead act like you are managing your private estate. You leave to go overseas and when you return don’t disclose to the nation what agreements you entered into on our behalf.Information also has to be timely for it to be most helpful. No leader is a genius, thus feedback is useful in fine tuning plans for nation building. We don’t hear your voice on the Palestinian issue,or the Syrian crisis, because these don’t matter to us directly. Therefore keep it relevant and address local matters,

Will Skerritt give support to the UN in the NG Lap Seng scandal with Ashe, Lorenzo et al? Will he ever condemn such fraudulent, corrupt acts

Will Skerritt recall all those fake Ambassadors who were handed our diplomatic passports. The UN and right-thinking Gov’ts all over the world are fighting mafia, terrorists, fraudsters, corrupt officials, yet DLP Gov’t moo-moo.

Is he trying to look good in the eyes of the UN? Too late. Too deep in those corruption scandals, not only at home, in Dominica, but world-wide. The passport-selling scheme is a serious scandal with no accountability or transparency.

The Society of Jesus, more commonly referred to as the Jesuits, are the armed militia of the Roman Catholic Church. They were sanctioned in 1540 by Pope Paul III with one mandate: to defeat Protestantism and regain worldwide Papal rule. To achieve this monumental task, they employ ever-adapting methods of pseudo-education, social programs, infiltration, and all wickedness that could possibly be conceived.

  29. February 8, 2016

    Prime minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, has received the Knight Grand Cross of Merit of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George this clearly shows that the prime minister is a member of the Jesuits Order;

    • September 13, 2016

The Knights of the Grand Cross of Merit of the Sacred Military Constantinian order of St. George is not recognized by the Holy See (according to the internet). What is the relationship between them and the Jesuit Order? I could find no reason to believe a Knight of the Grand Cross must be a Jesuit.

However, your description of the Jesuit order  is totally accurate which tells me you are knowledgeable. I don’t trust them either. They are masters of deception and operate on the false premise that the end justifies the means. In addition to educational work they are given assignments that require a high level of trickery “to accomplish the greater glory of God” which is another way of saying “to accomplish what is best for the Roman Catholic Church”. I had an occasion to see this on a major scale in Canada.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

The government of North Korea is cantankerous.. It appears the aim is to provoke countries to the extent to start a war.
It also appears this government has nothing better to do than to create lack of peace in the world.
North Korea, the democratic world does not like you and your policy. You are another menace to the peace of society. It is time for you to change.

“Mr. Skerrit said any such launch or threat of launch, has serious implications for world peace, and the ramifications could be severe for all humanity.”(Roosevelt Skerrit).

Maybe I am an idiot as some people claim, but even if I am an idiot I am sort of familiar with the English language though I a not an English major like Skerrit, nevertheless a kindergarten student should know the meaning of “ramification” in simple terms simply means “a branched structure, or the act or process of branching.

That terminology is used in law; in that when a law is written and tabled, a better understanding of the law is explained in the ramifications. The ramifications of the law makes it simpler to understand, i.e. what are the consequences for different violations.

Dominica does not have a vote in the United Nations Security Council anyway, so what is Skerrit hype about, he has no say in World affairs! As loud as Skerrit screams as if he is know in the world, his voice is limited to the village in which he was born.

I suppose, his commendation of North Korea might be due to the lack of a market for the sale of our nation’s diplomatic passports. When the big cat’s refuse to come out and hunt, the little rats and mouse comes out to pay they have a filed played today!

The United States of America, perhaps the only power on ready to deal with North Korea, all the Americans said was nothing more than recognized North Korea launched a long range missile. Can someone tell Skerrit the United States control a Demilitarized zone between North, an South Korea!

I suppose Dominica troops are on LIAT now flying to North Korea to victimized Kim! Skerrit is the commander in charge!

Good message but Skerriut is the wrong person to deliver it because he is doing the very same thing in Dominica.
Just last week he called on his labor family to attack members of the opposition, by calling them traitor whether they are seen on the street, cars, supermakets, funeral or on the plane. He needs to condemn his own statement because it has the potential to do just the same as what he condemning.

Skerrit knows the UN going to sell out some secrets soon re NG Lap saga, so he trying to befriend them early. Another thing is, he knows Chavez is no more, so to is Gaddaffi, Maduro is all but out and he has no one to turn to, so he trying to sing a different song today. Sacwe hypocrite!
