Hon Minister for Foreign Affairs, Francine Baron represented Dominica at the 101st ACP Council of Ministers Meeting and the 40th ACP-EU Council of Ministers Meeting in Brussels.

The ACP group is 70 African, Caribbean and Pacific states.

The May 26th -29th Meeting of the highest decision making body of the ACP group of states discussed salient issues facing the ACP group.

Of paramount importance to the ministers are the future financing for development for ACP countries, the status of the Economic Partnership Agreement, the Climate Change Summit coming up in December and the post 2015 development agenda.

The Council endorsed for the first time in the group’s history, the creation of a platform for small island developing states to follow up implementation of the Samoa pathway which was the outcome of the 3rd UN International Conference on SIDS which took place in Samoa in 2014.

The 40th ACP-EU Council of Ministers Meeting focused on financing for development, migration, trade cooperation and ACP private sector development. It is expected that the EU also pronounced on the future of the ACP-EU relations post 2020.

The encounter between the EU and ACP is of special significance since it is at that high level meeting that Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago signed a historic waiver agreement with the European Union.

The uncrowned King and Queen of Dominica, A redoubtable, indomitable couple making the entire cabinet uneasy with trepidation. I pray this soothsayer is not watching a Greek tragedy in the making.

Yes, she has two children. She was also with Hon.Roosevelt Skerrit at the Millennium hotel in London on 15 May to promote Baroness Patricia Scotland’s candidacy for Secretary General of the Commonwealth at a reception sponsored by the Sacred Military Order of St. George, as reported by them on their website http://www.constaninian.org.uk/prime-minister-of-dominica
and by Go Jamaica on their web siote www. go-jamaica.com/press release/item.php?id=4735.
GIS, you really should stop using outdated images of people. The photo of Hon. Francine Baron in your release is old, as may be judged from the very up-to-date image on the G Jamaica site.

The founder of one of the telecom company in the Caribbean is from Europe and is making billions on Africans and west Indians from cell phone service. He is one of the richest man in the world who thread where the giants fear due to political instability and poverty. The ACP is currently one of the largest markets in the world in terms of population. To date due to weak and terrible political systems we cannot harness the talents and resources. Men fighting due to greed. Africa, richest continent. Diamond, uranium, oil, wildlife, rare earths… Ect, guess what, instead of developing schools, universities roads services, science technology and so on, they buy guns from Europe and America to kill one another. All these organizations (ACP, UN, caricom, Alba, EU. . ) are waste of time. Just a bunch of politicians meeting together to feel important, have a good time, dine in fine food and wine send people to war so they can enjoy their sweet life. Mean time Africans Asians and west
