JCI Dominica beautifies Christian Union Primary School

The project included the enhancement of the school’s environment

On Monday, September 11, 2017, the prospective members of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dominica “Power Achievers Team” hosted a closing ceremony to mark the completion of The Christian Union Primary, School Beautification Project. The ceremony took place at the Christian Union Primary School in Goodwill,  immediately following the school’s morning assembly.

The project was undertaken as part of the initiation process of JCI Dominica, which requires its prospective members to successfully plan and execute a community project before being inducted. The project took place from July 5th to August 31st, and entailed the enhancement of the school’s environment by means of creative arts (painting, drawings, cleaning and educational games) and providing a partial scholarship to an underprivileged student.
