congratulations to all the public servants of my beautiful country….well done…I’ve known Jules all my life…he is not perfect like all of us but he has worked extremely hard with many many young people all th ecountry as well as Grand Fond…the workshops, the classes, the trips to the neighbouring villages teaching young men to set up their own businesses, to do other manual chores…what of those he also helped to travel to have a better life….what of those he helped in the prison…giving classes helping them to be better men when they would get out……he also used to be a teacher helping children in their early stages of life…there’s lots more…like i said he’s not perfect but Yahweh has given him a hardworking heart and love for his country….he should consider representing Grand Fond …good things do come from Grand Fond also….

that person who wrote the negative comment from grand fond re Mr Pascal’s award. did i get note of jealousy? or what did Mr Pascal your parl rep apparently not do for you? note well the best he could ever do for you is to use The Word of God to help you save your soul from hell…..now this is real help>>>>>>i wonder why you aren’t the one seeking to replace him if you know the job description of the chief youth development officer so well….come on you have the opportunity to do it why wait?

DNO why didn’t you mention Jacqueline Edwards name. She received the minister for Public Service Award? It would be nice if her award was also mentioned along with the others especially that her award was issued by the Minister himself. Thanks DNO

  7. as u make ur exit
    December 10, 2012

i have always wondered how mr pascal became chief youth officer and he is not at all involved with the youth form his own community (Grand Fond). If u are not part of his church then he does not realte to u. i am pleased that he is making his exit and hope that the person replacing him can better relate to the youth of Dominica.

You must be drugged or you must be asleep? Open your eyes to the truth and Wake up my friend. When he was involved where were you :?: His rise to the position of Chief would not depend on your opinion or that of others like you, but on his involvement and contributions to not only Grand Fond but to young people all over Dominica over the years. Where were you when he assisted and encouraged the many youth to be trained and now employed in Building Construction, Tile Laying, Welding,Barbering, Hotel Trades,Tour Guiding, etc? Where were you when he assisted some to establish their small businesses? Where were you when he led trained and established male and female volley ball teams in Grand Fond ? He has supported and still supports the school(maybe to help yourself or your own child if you are a parent) Obviously you are either blind,or under the influence, drugged or just plain wicked. If you were looking for personal favor from Mr Pascal and you did not get it, or you were expecting him to come to you. He is not a politician. May I inform you that irrespective of what you say and how you think Mr Pascal is a community man and still relates to all. Maybe you expect him to go to the disco, or buy and drink rum or sit and smoke and chat rubbish with you ! Then you will feel he is relating to you. He spends his time doing more positive things. You should be ashamed of yourself. If you don’t know, Go carry a survey and find out what good he has done (and continues to do) with and for so many young people. A prophet has no honor in his own country.

Congratulations! to all, you all got your flowers before as they say.”you die”now enjoy life and do not fade away in oblivion, as usually been the case. Hope you all continue to be called by the powers that be,to continue to share your vast experience and expertise,I know my fellow Grandfond mr Jules pascal still has a lot in him and is a true patriot who should strongly consider throwing his hat in the political arena, that would be a slam dunk! for GrandFond, Rivere Cyrique, and Mornejune.Mr Pascal I am willing to futher discuss that aspect at any time. take a much needed break and come back stronger than ever.

  48. December 8, 2012
