ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, May 19, 2011 – Regional airline LIAT said Thursday that it will suspend services to Tobago effective July 6, 2011.
Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said that the decision to suspend services was taken after careful review and analysis.
Brown said customers affected by the suspended services have been offered the alternative of travelling to Trinidad or a full credit.
how the hell can liat make the money the want to. when you have caribbean airline flying into tobago at much chaeper cost to their costomers from babados, antigua, jamaica, guyana come on liat cut the cost and pass down the prfits to your costomers by giving them ceaper tickets or mure will come your way and it is coming
LIAT will soon become, if it has not already become the laughing stock of the Caribbean. Too much money going to the big wig directors! Lack of respect for the travelling public continues!!
Maybe thats why L.I.A.T finally decided to do night landing at Melvillehall but beggers are no choosers.
why??
well lets hope that dominica is not next
on the list because liat has only 4 flights to da
liat needs compitition
where you get your info from???? liat operates 6 flights daily into dominica…..
GOOD MOVE LIAT
Now ‘suspend’ implies LIAT will resume at some point…but it sounds like the company has withdrawn services to Tobago – ”after careful review and analysis”. ?!
