LIAT to suspend services to Tobago

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, May 19, 2011 – Regional airline LIAT said Thursday that it will suspend services to Tobago effective July 6, 2011.

Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said that the decision to suspend services was taken after careful review and analysis.

Brown said customers affected by the suspended services have been offered the alternative of travelling to Trinidad or a full credit.

LIAT will soon become, if it has not already become the laughing stock of the Caribbean. Too much money going to the big wig directors! Lack of respect for the travelling public continues!!

Now ‘suspend’ implies LIAT will resume at some point…but it sounds like the company has withdrawn services to Tobago – ”after careful review and analysis”. ?!
