Nadira Lando goes for second regional crown

Miss Dominica and Miss Caribbean World Nadira Lando is hoping to capture her second regional crown on Friday evening (today) when she competes in the Miss Carival Pageant in St. Vincent.
The show, which forms part of St. Vincent’s carnival, is expected to take place at Carnival City in Kingstown’s Victoria Park.
It begins at 8:00 pm.
Lando will be going up against nine other contestants in several categories including swim wear, talent, spectacular wear and the interview segment which carries the most points.
The other contestants are from Anguilla, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Lando captured the Miss Dominica crown during the carnival season and emerged winner of the Miss Caribbean World pageant held in Tortola recently.

This was my comment a few days ago. I called it in no particular order. She needed some punches in her talent. She could still win Jaycees like Mariah and Marica did. Good luck with the next.
“We would all like her to return to Dominica with the title. I however think that Misses Trinidad ; St. Lucia and homegirl got an edge. They all got natural talent and very intelligent. Something lacking in Miss Dominica; things that cannot be taught to her or even her Chaparone ( a past winner) can give to her. However if she could have a good talent and interview round; the two order rounds is hers.”
It was a close show, no clear cut winner.

Well if having a healthy savings account, an education, a vehicle in my garage, a bright sun shiny smile on my face, a fabulous closet filled with shoes and clothes all paid by moi makes me a loser then I guess that’s what I am. Oh yeah I forget no baby daddies ….winning!!!! I just continue to win…so I’ll catch you on the next article. Vile persons like yourself are my sustenance and off course my hard work.
