For those who were unemployed and crying no work, after a storm/hurricane, there will be a lot of work for those who are capable.

@Let The Truth…I hope you leave where you are in Canada and come to Dominica to work because there will be a lot of work. One thing though we will not be able to honor food stamps at this time

Hurricane Maria destroyed Dominica on September 18, 2017 and destroyed everything on the island. No doubt agriculture and tourism suffered the most. But did it affect sale of our passports or it is too early to talk about that since PM is solely concerned about ensuring that our people have food to eat and a place to lay their heads. Well according to this article PM seems to be equally busy working on his CBI thing http://www.citizenshipbyinvestment.net/dominica-government-reduce-cbi-fees/

Didnt the Pm say he going to tell us the details of his trip to the old U S A today? I waiting and I doh hear nothing nuh.So who give him those 100 houses and 2 schools and that solar generator?

I think the PM took the humanitarian opportunity he had to go to the old USA to cash out his money in Bank of america/. I still waiting to hear the success story of his trip to the old USA

And insurance policy holders remember after you get your pay out for the damage done to your property expect your premiums to go up. Don’t think the insurance company is going to lose one cent in other words this is an opportunity for them to make money. Go figure

Yesterday during the press briefing Skerrit said he realized he will be in need of $1.3 billion dollars to build houses that can stand up to category 5 hurricanes and that’s why he will be going to Brussels. But does he report to us so we could know how much money we have now, how much we make from sale of passports, and how much he has received so far since Maria?
It was yesterday I was listening to a news clipping on ABS radio where PM Brown announced to the parliament that his countries CBI money will be cut in half, from $2000 to $1000 so they could raise money to rebuild Barbuda. But here is his reason for the cut. He said “DOMINICA is selling theirs for $1000 and monthly they are making $50 million while Antigua only makes six hundred thousand.” he went on to say annually DA makes six hundred million dollars from CBI. Wow first time I getting to know how much we making. So if we making so much money why can’t we spend some on Maria? Where is that money? Does he tell us…?

If asking sensible questions to PM Skerrit is a sign that we don’t like him, we are negative, we hate our country, we not sensitive, now is not the time then I must conclude that the apostle Peter was the same and was very insensitive to Sapphira when he asked her the same question he knew cause the death of her husband. In fact he had to be so insensitive to her by asking her that question when she did not even know her husband was dead and buried! The sad thing is the same people that criticizing us for asking questions to our PM are the same ones that will preach from Acts 5 and talk about happened their. They need to realize that Peter asked a series of questions man, and they were not comfortable. Peter simply exposed their lies so other would learn! Folks truth is not negativity and lies CANNOT BE POSSITIVITY. Skerrit lying to us too much and I am fedup with his lies, hypocrisies, and his tricks when Erika taught us that what he daid was not what he did.

You are out of touch. Did anyone speak of religion? The majority of your questions who are UWP supporters are way out of line and inappropriate since they are unrelated to the article. They are meant to debase and continuously criticize. They are not educating, nothing that anyone could learn something from. When will you learn that?
After such a Hurricane, with nationals losing practically all they had (some did), I would think you UWP supporters would be compassionate, stick to the issue and not deviate from it. Those types of comments are a disgrace. They spew hatred. Who are the nationals who would appreciate them?
What you are oblivious about, your type of comments are read by other nationals and non-nationals worldwide. They are not impressed about them. They project narrow-mindedness and critical types of people, to name a few.

@ Let The Truth Be Known-Original, why do you have a problem with TRUTH that is known? Why are you ducking and hiding from Truth? Why does the TRUTH offend you? Now you call it religion? Who quotes more scripture and talk more about religion than you? Why do you only agree with scripture when it is convenient to you and when it exposes your nakedness you have a problem? YOU are a hypocrite man! The passage @Y U running 4 referenced in Acts 5, is very revealing and applicable to us in Dominica. Skerrit keeps lying to us and when we ask questions all you talking about foreign nationals hearing what we posting. Don’t you think they know more about us and our government than what is being posted on this site? Trust me they know Skero and his mission better than you think. Here is what they know that you did not know: http://www.citizenshipbyinvestment.net/dominica-government-reduce-cbi-fees/

Y U running 4: You are so right and on point. We Dominicans must remain as Dummies and let Skerrit and his corrupt government do what they want and we as citizens and tax payers must not ask questions. This corrupt Labour government are clueless to good government and have immature people, from Craptain down to crooks and thieves running our country and we must not ask about the Bin Bobol, and Fertilizer bobol and Monfared and the Chinese guys and the NY based contacts etc etc etc. …we must just shout out in ignorance. “We love our PM..” Well d*mn PM, who ever you are to object in our questions asking. Skerrit as PM has a lot to answer to and we need answers.
Skerrit Must Go……Skerrit Must Go and Now.

What is wrong with us nou? Since when a person is being negative when they ask questions nou? Is it wrong to ask questions regardless of the season? Now if we were getting Skerrit to answer questions and we asking the same questions then I would not understand but he just telling us what he wants man. As a young man when I approached my wife’s parents about their daughter they questioned me and they were not being negative. They just simply wanted to know my plans for their daughter, so I don’t understand you all man. If a man a person is sincerely lying to me and I showed him how he contradicting himself that’s not being negative; it is simply not letting any one FOOL me in broad daylight, like Skerrit has been doing to us and continues to do. We are very spiritual and like to quote bible allow me to ask this: was the Apostle Peter Negative or even hated Ananias when he asked how much they sold the field for? Was he insensitive to ask his wife Sapphira same question? Acts 5

It depends on your type of questions. In any part of the world, if some questions are irrelevant they will not be answered. Some of you ask questions that have no bearing on what is being stated. You do not mean well. Therefore your questions will go unanswered. In other words, they are not worth paying attention to and answering. They are also insulting and disrespectful. It is best for you to keep quiet.

He also told us on Thursday that during his UN trip, he spoke to an American firm that has agreed to give him a generator that can cover the entire island. He said he could not give detail yesterday but would give that information during his address on Friday hmm. Friday? And I guess Friday night so the media will not be able to question him and Dominicans would be able to sleep well over the weekend because PM is getting a generator that covers the entire nation, so we will all have lights soon. Oh boy PM, that one is just too good to be true. An American firm? But PM, St. Croix, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico are ALL American territories and they were all heavily destroyed, and they all have NO power, and they don’t know when they getting power, and the American firm by passing all of them and instead they blessing Dominica with the generator? PM is it really a US firm or a firm from the middle East registered in the US? Are they the same firm involved in our CBI? What do they get?
