    we love LABOUR!!!!!

I should not have gone to St Jo but did go with a red friend ( my GF ) and am now a convert. You see she came with me londondery so she invited me to st Jo so I had to return the compliment. I am /was a blue. I walked all over the place to observe what was happening. When we entered the village it was 310 Pm and my goosh the crowd was massively large and thought that they had approached their maximum. My girl laughed at my comment. I was wandering what was the joke because I was serious. Would you imagine that within the next 45/70 minutes the crowd had nearly tripled. I could not believe what was happening. I proceeded to make a call to my boy who lived on the morne/hill in st Jo ( who is super blue ) he asked me where was I. I said st jo. he said “it appears that the whole of Dominica St Jo man” I asked him why. He said ” Since morning he monitoring and doing some tallying and he ran out of paper and he have zapoood because he has already estimated well over 17 thousand from the North alone and didn’t have any idea whats coming in from the Southern section and South West Communities and that was frightening “. I old him how shocked I was and how I think that labour will increase its popular support and might well get at least 20 seats. I didn’t sleep at all that night and I am of the view that UWP needs to re-strategise and maybe get a new leader because people are not into LL and Dr T has made things more sticky for us and a lot of us supporters are rather embarrassed over those allegations and we had hope when he promised court action but thus far the Next Level Team have not been served by his attorney.
One thing am certain is that I shall no longer listen to what people say about this government . Its better you come and see it for yourself. Theyre absolutely popular and seem very serious about their politics. The rally was mixed with the expected mepuis ( we have to be real because this is Caribbean Politics ) , there was laughter/comicry, brief system failure / technical probems earlier on and most importantly concrete projects for Dominica’s development. I don’t know how the UWP going to overcome St.jo slam down. I don’t think its possible either in terms of their plans and surely they don’t have the power and following and impact and organizational power as labour.
Dominicans aree genuinely into the DLP and TEam Dominca must re-tool and think of the election after the next.

It is CHRISTMAS TIME IN MARIGOT.
Well well welllllll Charlo used to say that facts are stubborn things,,,,,,you mean you are a blue and you were in d hot sun listening to labour power. My word well Its no wander that UWP supporters continue to drift away to labour. D last time it was 5 k and by the time the bell rings it wil be another 8k . Some people are in shock over Monday and I want d pm to allow his security people to count the St Jo village, Back Road, on d hill , in d village , layou and Mero when they doing their count. If they had done this then they would know that the crowd was nearing 30 k.
Labour kar twavai and we are the change Rally was d greatest and biggest ever in the History of Dominica. My St Lucian friend in attendance said she has never ever seen anything like that. She was in a state of utter shock at the tremendous popularity of the Pm Skerrit and the massive chaos that was created when he entered the arena.

In all my mid-age life never have I seen so much people gathered at a function in Dominica. I have been at creole in the park, world creole music festival, opening parades for Val Val, calypso finals, cricket in stadium, and many entertainment, and political events but nothing can compare to what I saw yesterday. I had no plans to go but many of my friends called me and I listened on kairi FM and I felt the LABOUR POWER FEVER and hence I had to key up my car and get to St Joseph. What was obvious was the impact of the rally throughout Marigot and the north and north west and west coast. I looked at the crowd from the hill and it was simply unimaginable huge beyond human comprehension. The DLP will win the election with a greater majority of votes and seats I even will not be surprised if Marigot and Salisbury falls to labour power. PM come Marigot on d 25th please ?

    1. INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT under a BOT PLAN ( build operate and transfer plan by a Chinese company ).
    2. RE-development of Roseau City
    3. Re-development of Possie Town
    4. State of the Art indoor Sports facility at StockFarm with seating more than 3000 for Netball , Basketball and Volleyball.
    5. 1500 new houses as part of an expanded Housing Revolution
    6. Ultra Modern Five Star Hotel at the site of the Public Works department in Woodbridge bay Roseau
7 New modern Hotel at cruise Ship Berth in Portsmouth
8 Bulk Water and Bottle WaterExport

NB Source of funding have been secured and identified. And also the PM has assured us that at least 80% of the labour Force on these projects will be Dominicans

OK lets just say that these are promises. I accept this view as I did when the PM spoke in 2004 of the pillar grant aid/ loan projects and all other major promises which were made and delivered upon. These include some key projects which the opposition has said were not going to take place such as
    1. The Windsor Park Stadium
    2. The New Dominica State House Facility
    3. The West Coast Road
    4.Petro Carib
    5. the Arbatoir
    6 The Coffee Factory
    7.Yes We Care
    8.Housing Revolution
    9.Red Clinic
10.Record number of students studying all over the world in tertiary institutions
    11.Morocco Hotel in Possie
    12.New Modern Hospital
    13.Major modern equipment at PMH
    14. CCJ
    15. Growth in economy
    16 reduction in poverty
    17. Respect from regional and international community
    18 Geothermal energy
    19.Drop in crime
    20.Restoration of pride in country
    21.Diversification in Agricultural economy

PS The massive record breaking crowd estimated at above 22000 on the field and immediate surroundings plus another 2500 in the village and another 1500 along the E O Leblanc Highway ( St Jo end ) and countless who turned back. If you do the maths and counting by the PM security details ended 30 minutes after his mind boggling arrival. So the crowd was at least 26 000 persons. This is quite a serious show of force from a party which has been quiet while the opposition UWP has been all over the place. I have no idea whether any venue in Dominica will be able to accommodate such more numbers which is expected to even increase to the 30 k range by peak time.
Even as a former blue I was frightened and in a state of utter disbelief yesterday. I took the opportunity to speak to a few two cousins of mine from Mero ( Blues) and they told me they have never ever seen such a thing in all her life. They are in their 40’s and serious blues. They concluded that the UWP has to work hard even to save their 3 seats and the PM is powerful and loved by his people. She said she shivered when she saw the way the people reacted to the Pm when he came.
