IN PICTURES: Opening of parliament

On Wednesday the First Meeting of the Fifth Session of the Eighth Parliament under the Commonwealth of Dominica Constitution got underway.

During the seating, prime minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, presented the 2013-2014 budget.

    The cops look so good in their uniforms slim and trim. There belt fit perfectly. They are in very good shape. I believe that cops should be in the top shape for that kind of job they do. Any nonsense in the house of parliament they can run, jump etc. I love the lady’s dress and hat she walks with confidence. RESPECT . I hope everything goes well in the House of Parliament. I pray everything goes well.

    Dno, what were you highlighting? The palimentarians or policemen on guard? I would expect to see more photos of parliamentarians arriving. Looks like national parade.

      DNO did well, parliament is serious business it’s no catwalk business. Bread and butter issues, this is what it’s all about….keep the people focus DNO…good going,

    Lets hope the PM dose not announce like Lennox Linton announced last evening of the elimination of high government utility bills – which I call the No lights in the ministries, hospitals, airports budget!
