Wake up people, guns are destroying our communities, young people are killing young people. Our future you say, not my future. We need you help the authorities any way that we can, regardless if the person is a family member. If you see something say something.

Cannabis? Boy look backwardness. I can s eye arrests for the guns but not cannabis. So, the government of Dominica is making money this way from arresting its people while the government of St.Vincent has positioned itself and its people to make mega money from cannabinol and real benefits of cannabis? Someone is asleep at the wheel in this day.

dummy its intent to supply! even if marijuana was legal it will always be illegal for people to sell it without a license or business dispensary! these people are drug dealers not casual marijuana smokers…. big difference!

Smartypant(ies)…. If cannabis was legal as in Colorado, Washington etc it would be distributed using other means, not along with hard drugs, there would be no reason to have the guns, thus eliminating one Hugh aspect of common gun related crime.

you can compare all you want…. at the end of the day wrong is wrong.. illegal is illegal and right is right….. the police were doing their JOB and the government is what WE put there… they did not get there by themselves….. you people need to stop pointing fingers and start taking responsibility!

@Music, I suspect you do not like the government but all-u will have to stop jumping on bandwagon and get real. My reasoning is that cannabis is distributed thru same avenues as hard drugs, if it wasn’t there’d be no need for the guns. Everywhere it is legalized is thriving, but you still stuck in your old ways of 45 years ago, that hasn’t worked, you need to let go and move on.

As I commented previously, the efforts of the police in this case must be applauded. What will be more effective is to find and destroy the source(s) of entry of these guns and ammunition into the country. If a faucet is leaking, you will have to mop the water that falls on the floor repeatedly. If you fix the leaky faucet, then the problem is solved. Gather the necessary intelligence then plug the holes of entry of these guns.

Why arrest some one on suspicion of being in possession of a fire arm, was he arrested with a thing which looks like a fire arm, and why protect the criminals? You should protect the victims, not the criminals. I’m tired of hearing the phrase, that an individual was arrested. If they wanted their names to be protected, they shouldn’t be committing crimes.

When the police do well they should be commended. Good work by the police to get these instruments of death off the streets. There is a great need to improve your intelligence gathering techniques and efforts. The proliferation of illicit firearms and ammunition must be curbed significantly.
