Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Assistant Superintendent Claude Weekes, has called on recently promoted police officers to continue to work hard.
The new positions took effect on September 10, 2014
Weekes told Dominica News Online (DNO) during an interview on Friday that three women were also among police officers who were promoted.
“I really congratulate them and encourage them to work hard, to be persistent and continue to serve the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica and to make themselves and families proud,” he said.
The new promotions are as follows;
Corporals Clinton Hillaire and Michael Sebastien were both appointed as sergeant.
Four were confirmed as corporals: Greg Henderson, Boycott Yankey, Lynda Daisy Jones, and Leoma Joseph.
Corporals Jinny Augustine-Pierre, Joseph Raymond and Julian Laurent were appointed as acting sergeant.
Weekes had some words of consolation for “those who have not yet been promoted,” pointing out, “it doesn’t say that they are not considered..”
He also encouraged them to work hard.
Weekes, your comment is weak. The entire force is skeritt’s bodyguards. They abuse civilians right left and center. Still, is the tax payers money that’s paying their salary. Most of them usually turn out to be quite miserable when they retire. Some look like they need to be re-tread.

Congratulations police officers on your promotion. As your ASP stated to each member of the Police Force, work hard and prove your worthiness. You know that we are living in different and difficult times. The people are expecting it.
Those who deserve a promotion will obviously receive it. May there be fairness in choosing police officers for promotions.
Mr. Weekes please WORK HARD on convincing the powers that be through your superiors that come next drug burn the CDPF will have a state of the art high temp incinerator and will not endanger the lives of the people of Morne Bruce, Kingshill and environs with poisonous narcotic/tyre/plastic smoke!!! and who knows what else burning
I believe Weekes should retire at this point. You have been strategically placed back into this position to endure all the criticism of this incompetent Government which is being reflected through the Dominica Police Force. I believe that you are a good man and that you mean well, but, A GOOD MAN CANNOT BE GOOD IN HELL!!!
the force has been like this from time to time,,, you find that the cops who work hard “licking ass” gets promoted faster.
Please note that there are certain officers who deserve there promotions.
Dominica can still boast of the cleanest police force in the rejoin. but there are certain issues that needs to be addressed asap
That’s why Parry Bellot said what he said about public servants. The sole reason being all the lazy ones in the public service are being promoted and the hard working ones are being side lined for all sorts of reasons. In the police force officers who work hard are being transfered all over and those lazy ones are promoted and hidden because if they get transferred the would be embarrasments. Well unto whom much is given much is exspected. And unto who nothing is given nothing should be espected.
A “Force” cannot “serve the people…….”

I can take nothing Claude Weeks says seriously. Claude, I once held you in high regard but after some things came to my attention, I have lost ALL respect for you. Pull up your socks Claude.
Weeks you got to be joking. Tell me What have the Newly promoted officers done throughout the career to suggest they deserve promotion. Can you give us their CV. “Hard work” there are numerous officers who are working hard, but are bypass for promotion. Weeks come clean
Do you realize that you are out of place and naive to ask such a question? You do not deserve his response for this is an internal affair between the ASP and the police officers who were promoted. Based on their performance which is recorded, they were promoted.
why is it that the the officer that get 96% in a promotoin exam cannot promoted.first time in the force history the the person that past first did not get promoted
You can pass with high honours but what about a good attitude, you need that as well.
I would think this is simple. The officer still has to prove his on-the-job competence.

work hard and all u giving them quass lil money stupes.they kia leave comfortable. look at those fire officers sleeping outside because of inhumane conditions srupes. i say treat the damn police and fire officers goood increase there salary including teachers and they will be encouraged to work harder. but for now thats bullcrap .0 0 0 zero zero ozero % increase stupes.

well that’s right mister weekes but the two that got sergeant especially the one that is the boss good friend what have he done(which hard work).The man can’t finish a file.The man is disaster giving evidence.The man just a complete idiot but you see he will embarass them.
