CONGRATULATION to PM Rosvelt Skerrit. Dominica has another 5 years towards further progression.

The people has spoken and approve of your work in the past and have full confidence in your future plans for sweet Dominica.

I hope this election has been a wake up call for you and your team. You have a lot of enemies amonst you and you need to beware of it. Pay attention and trust no man.

Now Dominican, we have to move beyond our hatred and think of what is best for our country. That kind of

name call, gossip (bribing) is garbage and it is time you guys understand and accept the facts. the people of

Dominica has spoken. The Labour party with the help of us citizens both in Dominica and abroad (including

myself) to lead Dominica to development. We need to regain our pride and dignity and join hands together

in making our country grow in peace and unity.

    Congratulations.
Looking forward to Synergistic Sustaibable development. Nice to see inclusion of my prebudget consultation suggestions of:
    1. Inviting and providing tax incentives for our Diasora sisters and Brothers to return to contribute to nation building. 2. Income tax reduction. 3. Crime prevention rather than fighting. 4.increased agriculture investment.
    5.Value added social programs.
5.retained VAT =pay as you spend rather than as you earn.

Even My community owned and operated Marina, 60 room hotel and waterfront mall project for sunshine village I submitted to NDC in 2006 and displayed as a powerpoint presentation at the portsmouth town council meeting at RBD cinema hall.
Although it was rejected in favour of crews inn group that never delivered. I am happy it may actually become a reality.
We need it. Don’t forget my grandmothers dream to see the breaking from exile her fellow Kalinago . Have been subjected to, by providing 10acres at woodfordhill for another model Kalinago village resort to provide employment and expanding craft outlet.

    Great victory speach.

    this comment is for shirley(freeloader)allan..

maybe you should be in dominica planting some bananas in the dominican republic …not the banana republic. You ran from dominica, have not returned from the time you left so you have no idea the progress that dominicas have seen. PM Skerrit is doing a heck of a job as pm that is why heREGAINED 18 seats..THE BLUES NEED TO DO ONE OF TWO THINGS…COME ONBOARD OR BURY THEIR HEAD IN THE DIRT. LIVE LONG LABOUR… ALL ABOARD WITH LABOUR.

To Shirley Allan when last were you in Dominica and what have you contributed during the years that you lived there and since you left? Nothing but repeated fraud.

If I recall clearly, Banana Republic is the store where I returned a sweater last week. Stop the malapropism.

I THINK ITS A SHAME THAT PEOPLE ARE STILL CONTINUING TO SPEAK THAT WAY. iT’S NOT ONLY THAT THE DLP HAS WON 17 SEATS BUT THEY WON BY LARGE MARGINS. HOW COULD IT BE MORE CLEAR THAT DOMINICANS HAVE SPOKEN AND THEY WANT THE DLP BACK IN POWER. AND THERE WERE NO OVERSEAS PEOPLE VOTING IN MY CONSTITUENCY AND WE WON BY ALMOST 900 VOTES!!!!

ANYWAY TO THE LOSING TEAM, I THINK IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE DLP WAS GOING TO RETURN TO POWER.

Shame on you people leaving overseas, that just goes to shows the pasture is not greener, Skeritt will keep our people in the begging state, and if the industries were growing, people would not have to beg so much after 10 years of labour reign, if skerit thought his hard work was going to pay off he would have no need then to import votes, those overseas voters cannot come back home to leave and enjoy that good time that they have again brought upon us, but they can be bought and pack in plains like sadines to come and vote for skeritt.

We all knew that the DLP was again going to make its mark in the Dominican history. Congratulations to our prime minister and the DLP Candidates. we are all celebrating your success. Lets now all come together put aside negative thoughts and non constructive criticisms and HELP build our island that we all love so much>

  26. cloww
    December 19, 2009

Well It it would be interested to see what the result would be if skeritt did not import all this vote. The evidence is so clear, chartered planes just landing in Dominica, they saw the state of the roads they had to drive on from the airport after ten years of labour, our indutries have not grown.

As if there was any doubt! Being an ex pat living and working here in Dominica over the past 6 years has certainly been made easier because of Mr. Skerrit’s leadership. He has skillfully guided the small island nation towards big country status and he has formed alliances and friendships that have provided Dominica with a contiually growing standard of living! Congratulations to you Mr. Skerrit and to all of your re elected laborites.
