Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has spoken following her defeat in the US election by Republican challenger, Donald Trump.

At a hotel in New York City on Wednesday, she stated that she still believes in America, that the people must respect the results and look to the future.

Clinton said that she hopes Trump will fulfill his promise of being a President for all Americans.

“This is not the outcome that we wanted or we hoped for and I am sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the visions we hold for this country,” she said.

Clinton said she feels a sense of pride and gratitude after running such a campaign and stated that the feeling of disappointment among her supporters is mutual.

“This is painful and it will be for a long time, but remember this, our campaign is never about one person or even one election, it was about the country we loved and about building an America that is hopeful, inclusive and big-hearted,” Clinton noted.

She made it known that Trump will be the President of the United Sates and so must be given the chance to exercise his political rights. This goes in hand with the constitutional democracy that stresses the peaceful transfer of power, she said.

“Our constitutional democracy demands our participation and not just every few years, but all the time,” Clinton stressed.

She made a special appeal to young women to never doubt their value and power and urged supporters to be strong.

“I believe that we are stronger together and will go forward together,” Clinton said.

She quoted a passage from scripture that states, “let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Clinton ended her presentation on a good note by encouraging supporters to continue having faith in each other and to never grow weary or lose heart.

“There are more seasons to come and there is more work to do,” she said.

  1. Mrs. Clinton - looks fab in pants suits!

That woman is bad, but by gum, she does look great in a pants suit.

My recommendation to Mrs. Clinton is to give up politics and start a brand new line in pants suits for all ages.
I’m not a fan of the lady by any means, but credit where credit is due and she does look fab in pants suits.

By the way, Mrs. Clinton, President Trump has won. There is no going back, so please ask your husband to turn off his band of criminal rascals that have been put in place to false flag ‘demonstrations’ in US cities against Mr. Trump’s victory as whatever happens my dear, you will be going to jail for your crimes.

    The Praying Mantis.
She had no choice but to concede. She lost the election.
What some of her supporters and DNO readers may not know, following in Obama’s footsteps, she is a supporter of the same ungodly practices:
Planned Parenthood – aborting millions of babies in the mothers’ wombs.
Euthanasia, assisted suicide – killing of the handicapped, terminally sick, at any age.
Same sex relationships and so-called marriage and all the benefits they derived from this intrinsic lifestyle, as adopting babies.
Forcing employers to incorporate contraceptives, sterility and the likes in their insurance policies, ignoring their religious rights and conscience. Otherwise they would have to pay $2,500 per day. Consider the amount on an annual basis. Some of these people are still in Court with the Obama administration over this mandate.
A non-supporter of religious rights. She would have muzzled the Catholic Christian Church and other Christian churches.

    Hillary conceded :!:

It was the right thing to do. Unlike the campaign speeches she made she did not use it as an occasion to swing at her opponent. One could sense the hurt but not hate. She was positive in her outlook, and ended with encouragement for the young women of the nation.

It was a contrast to what most people feared from Trump if he had lost. One only had to look at the police and security presence in New York into the evening. It was obvious the nation expected Trump to have a psychotic meltdown if he lost. That is what Americans may face whenever the man doesn’t get his own way at home or in the international arena. A serious issue involving one of the world super powers could trigger a war. Many believe the man is irrational, unpredictable, and dangerous.

We need to pray for President Trump and the United States of America. May God keep us all “under the Shadow of the Almighty” until the Lord Jesus returns to rule the nations.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald…

I copied this off a facebook comment:

‘The difference with America and Dominica is as soon as Trump won Hillary called him , Obama called him. Even if they don’t like each other they are prepared to move together for the country. While in Dominica we still arguing about 2009 elections. ‘

Obama popularity is only on paper, this so-called growing economy is the slowest in the U.S. history. He is the first president who never had a 3% growth after a recession. The slowest recovery since 1949. It is difficult 2 get full time employment only part time because of Obama care.He called Bush unpatriotic because he added $5 trillion in 8 yrs to the national debt, but he will add $10 trillion. After he leaves office next yr.he will add more debts than all the 43 presidents before put together.Yes while he maybe popular but his policies are not.During the midterm elections in 2014 he said.”Yes I am not on the ballot, but my policies are there.”We all know the results the Democrats got a massive defeat the Republicans took back the senate and he became a lame duck president. The last time they had such a defeat was over 65 yrs. ago. This time, once more with all his oratory, the voters said we are giving the republicans the presidency, senate and house will remain and judges 4 S/Court

Go to hell, what all you have against Lennox!!!! Leave him alone. Democracy only suits you all when it seems not to favor you all. GO TO HELL AGAIN> Dominica needs to take a page from America. We need democracy in our elections. Go to Hell. Leave Lennox alone

    • November 10, 2016

You are telling people to “Go to Hell.”

I am telling them “Don’t go to hell.” It is what an evangelist does.

We are all sinners on our way to hell unless we have acknowledged our sins and trusted Christ as our Savior. When we have done this the last thing we would want is to see a fellow human being go to hell :!:

We must BELIEVE He died for our sins and rose again according to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and Romans 1:16.

We must RECEIVE Him as our personal Savior according to John 1:11,12 and 1 John 5:11,-13.

Please find a Bible and read these scripture verses.

      Act upon them!

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

I hope the same ones who say go to Hell will not end up there. When they get angry they make such a comment.
It reminds me about the late Mother Angelica, Foundress of EWTN – Eternal Word Television Network. She said, “Some people say, go to Hell. I never hear anyone say, go to Heaven. Tell people to go to Heaven.” When the opportunity presents itself, I pass this on.
I find UWP supporters get angrier than DLP supporters. They seem to be thin-skinned.
Once, in an elevator, it stopped on nearly every floor. An impatient man kept saying, “Jesus!” I said to him, “What did He do to you?” He replied: “I am not a fanatic about Scripture.” I told him I am not referring to Scripture. You called his name in vain.” Do not do that again!
I also inform some people about that. You know when they say “holy s….”, etc. I say to them there is no such word and more. I usually say it in a manner so they will not get angry with me.

    Good riddance!

The chairman of Chiquita bribed her husband into fighting to kill off the UK’s preferential treatment of Dominica’s banana industry. Why any Dominican would support her is a mystery to me.

The people is the government. Always remember that. lets see what Trump is going to do. He is a businessman. A business man is quite different from from a president. I hope black American people will realise that they have to work hard for anything they want just like everyone else. Nothing just falls in anyone’s lap.

As a registered Democrat it really hurts to hear her give her defeat speech knowing I crossed to vote against her. Though very experienced I thought she was the worse candidate to ever win the nomination of the Democratic party and I just couldn’t vote for her knowing her record. I personally voted against her when I heard Skerrit was supporting since she and Bill Clinton were very close friends of NG Lap Seng and Bill was seen in photo in the Macau saga the same time Skerrit was seen in photo with them before Erika. I said I can’t support anyone or anything Skerrit is supporting because the man is so damn corrupt and is o ly concerned about his selfish corrupt agenda as seen with the baroness, Maduro / Chavez, lap seng, just to name a few. If Skerrit supporting a person or a thing just know he sees a corrupt way since that’s all is concerned about. So Madam sorry but when we saw your husband with Ng and Co two weeks before they were arrested by FBI we had to vote against you

It appears all governments of especially the democratic world supported her.
There is a classic case of an Ontario Judge who wore Trump’s hat to Court. It is red and it read, “Make America Great Again.” A man of his position and at work, I do not know why he would have done that. A City Councilor in that area is calling for his resignation. Canada has supporters and non-supporters of Trump. Some are copying the US and demonstrating against Trump.

Democracy at its best. Is that not amazing.. There is a popular president in office. He cannot run for re-election and never will be able to. The economy is growing the campaign was nasty ugly and brutal yet the people have spoken. They have made a choice which like it or not has to be respected. People can say what they want about America but the political system is the best in the world and Trump has 4 years to prove his worth or else he is out. This means you are held accountable by the people and if you did well it’s one more term and you out. Trump will not get to do most of what he said because the government system has checks and balances that prevents dictatorship or monarchy style Presidents. One thing the rest of the world should not make a mistake of miscalculating the American people. They not afraid to make sacrifices and determine what there government should be. People run things not the government.

The people spoke but they spoke in favor of Clinton, she got more votes than he did but he won the electoral college. We don’t want Trump as our president because he represents everything bad.. He is sexist, homophobic, racist and he is creating segregation. Yeah he was elected but he will not have a a happy 4 years in office because he and his buddy puttin has to answer to that man above…

      • November 11, 2016

        @Suzie November 10, 2016

There is no result from the Electoral College–whoever they are. This event does not takes before December 12. So then Trump is not yet in the White House; he must first wait for that result. In other words he has won the battle, but the war is still left to win–Good Lord!

Well that one way to look at it but he won within the established rules. I am not a Trump fan and sure he is an idiot, but the fact remains he will be president. I am giving him 2.5 years before he is impeached.

The most we can do since he is elected is to pray for him and wish him well. We hope he will do something good for America.
As for the names you call him especially segregation, there are people in Dominica who segregate. Since no one is perfect, I wonder if you do not have that tendency and others.
Those who do not support same sex relationships and so-called marriage, it is because they know it is ridiculous, abnormal and sinful that two men get married that those foolish governments succumb to some people and legislated it. They are not homophobic. They also do not hate them. Some may do but not everyone. If they kept their business private and not go out in the public arena and expect others to approve of them, no one would say anything. Whatever is out in public is the public’s concern and they have a right to approve or not to approve.
