Queen’s Commonwealth Day message

Queen Elizabeth the second
Towards a Common Future Commonwealth Day, 12 March 2018

We all have reason to give thanks for the numerous ways in which our lives are enriched when we learn from others. Through exchanging ideas, and seeing life from other perspectives, we grow in understanding and work more collaboratively towards a common future.

There is a very special value in the insights we gain through the Commonwealth connection; shared inheritances help us overcome
difference so that diversity is a cause for celebration rather than division.

We shall see this in action at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which takes place in the United Kingdom next month, bringing together young people, business and civil society from across the Commonwealth.

These gatherings are themselves fine examples of how consensus and commitment can help to create a future that is fairer, more secure, more prosperous and sustainable.

Having enjoyed the warm hospitality of so many Commonwealth countries over the years, I look forward to the pleasure of welcoming the leaders of our family of 53 nations to my homes in London and Windsor.

Sport also contributes to building peace and development.

The excitement and positive potential of friendly rivalry will be on display next month as we enjoy the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia. Contributing to the success of the Games, alongside athletes and officials, will be thousands of volunteers.

Voluntary effort, by people working as individuals, in groups or through larger associations, is so often what shapes the Commonwealth and all our communities.

By pledging to serve the common good in new ways, we can ensure that the Commonwealth continues to grow in scope and stature, to have an even greater impact on people’s lives, today, and for future generations.

Don’t you know that the Europeans had their guns and if the natives did not cooperate that they would kill them? At that time Africa had no guns, jails, cells, prisons, etc.,. We just keep saying that Africans sold their own but we need to take another look and ask ourselves why did they do it. We need to stop burying our heads in the ground and take up our stance against the treacherous and inhumane way our fore-parents were treated by these heartless Europeans. It is high time that we stop making excuses for those who do not care about us up to this present day.

One world Government! Keep looking. Every international speech highlights a common community.
The question is why? It’s not that i hate peace but the hypocrite, cunning, deceitful, manner of pushing agendas.
There shall be no peace except through Jesus Christ because He is the God of Heaven, Earth and everything below! Say all you want but you WILL BOW before Him one day whether you like it or not!
Wake up! We wake up every morning because of the mercy of God and someone will not be graced with more of this life tomorrow. Can’t you see? Why gamble your lives?
Simply ask Him to come with a true heart willing to repent and i guarantee you He will.
    Glory to God!

    I’d prefer you to place your hand on your heart while reading this Queens message;
as this would convince me you honestly believe in what you’ve been scripted to read .
I wish your facial features didn’t convey a different message .
Lets hear about the Slavery which still goes on the World over .
Commonwealth message , my big toe.

This queen must first give back that 200-billion-dollar gold charriot made out of gold stolen FROM AFRICA. Then pay reparations to the countries and peoples they raped and savagely enslaved to be taken seriously.

Tell me about it, Annon. They have been thieves and robbers, who plundered, massacred, killed and maimed our forefathers and stole their jewels out of Africa to make themselves look good. Who cares about this woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But you have to remember that it was Slave Trade. Africans sold other African tribes to the Europeans in exchange for guns, beads and trinkets. As well as an apology from the British we should demand an apology from the descendants of the African chiefs who captured and sold our forefathers into the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade!

To my eternal embarrassment I learn it was not our leaders in Africa that wanted to abolish slavery for our people but people in England that started that movement. Can that be so and African rulers did not get paid for supplying Africans to the Europeans? Man, I know myself we can be just as wicked as the next man. What is the truth brother.
