Rare lunar event visible from Dominica Sunday night into Monday morning

During a “Blood Moon”, the moon turns a rusty shade of red

Weather permitting, Dominicans will witness a rare lunar event between late Sunday night into early Monday morning.

The phenomenon, known as a “blood moon” will see the moon turn into a rusty red color, hence the name.
And it will be seen right here in Dominica.
A blood moon takes place during a lunar eclipse but instead of the full moon disappearing entirely, as it happens during a normal eclipse, it turns a rusty shade of red.
A lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth casts a shadow on the moon.
Total lunar eclipses are not common. They happen only when it’s a full moon, and only when the sun, Earth, and moon are precisely aligned so that the darkest part of our planet’s shadow completely blankets the lunar disk.
What makes this even more interesting is that on Saturday, the moon will be unusually close to the Earth and it will appear slightly bigger and brighter, making it a so-called “super moon”.
So what will be seen in Dominica is what has been described as a “super blood moon.”
But what makes the moon appear red in color?
National Geographic explains that during a total eclipse, sunlight shining through Earth’s dusty atmosphere is bent, or refracted, toward the red part of the spectrum before it’s cast onto the moon’s surface. As a result, you will see the lunar disk go from a dark gray color during the partial phase of the eclipse to a reddish-orange color during totality.
However, in order to see this event, you will have to stay up late.
The full effect of the blood moon will begin to be seen in Dominica at about 12:41 on Monday morning. However, effects of the event can be seen hours before.
The peak of the “blood moon” will take place at 1:12 on Monday morning but the entire event will last about five hours and 12 minutes.
Lunar eclipses have been a source of awe and fear throughout history.
Even the bible is not left out of the action.
For example: The Book of Joel, 2:31, states: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.”
Revelations 6:12, says: “There was a great earthquake. The Sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair. The whole Moon turned blood red.”

It is quite humorous to see the biblical quotes of the lunar eclipses. This is a very beautiful scientific event that occurs quite regularly, in fact, compared to the solar eclipse. The beauties and occurrences of this earth created by God are phenomenal.

Quite regular? Only for the past few years… I’m in my thirties and saw a few solar eclipse in my young days but never a lunar eclipse.. And that’s something we wouldn’t have noticed in DA… The word of God is coming to pass.. Seek the Lord while there is still time… #wearelivinginthelastdays… The earth is sick but we humans are more sick

You are no longer servants, but Royal sons and daughters, can you see my answers over your lives? Release the pain to me at this hour, anything that keeps you away from everything I have for you. Stand firm, many will come to steal what is yours, stand firm, grab a hold firmly. I am restoring and replenishing your soul at this hour, now is your time to come forth and shine. Many get stuck in the wrong moment, I have come to free the captives so what is holding you back? You must decide to not stay stagnant. Discover who you truly are, be still for my burden is easy. You are an overcomer so hearken up your praise unto me this day. Behold I am knocking on the walls of your heart and if you call me I will listen, let me silence those who mock you. I am going to shake the religious beliefs between you and my church. What was will not be, so shake off the condemnation and the shame from your past.
Understand what faith can actually do so look for my hand, no…

I do not know why you’ll call the Luna eclipses rare, sometimes it happen 3 or 4 times in a year. The solar, yes that one I can understand it is rare.
On the part of the BIBLE whilst these things are mentioned there are many more things that are to precede these actual events. And what we are to take from it is that GOD has declared all things were made by HIM and for HIM and without HIM was nothing made.HE made both good and evil and all is at HIS disposal to use when HE has need of teaching men lessons.
It’s for that reason,I believe, when HE decide to bring it upon man by way of these things many will be taken off guard since these things are not strange to mankind.

Amen and amen to what our Heavenly Father has said. God is certainly not left out. HIS WORD shall certainly come to pass.
