Antigua parliament ratifies OECS economic union

The Antigua and Barbuda parliament has ratified the Revised Treaty of Basseterre establishing the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) as an economic union.

Prime Minister  Baldwin Spencer told parliamentarians that the OECS will eventually create a single political  and economic space in the subregion, “and so what we are doing here today, we are part of a fundamental, historical development of Herculean proportions.

    Really.

    Is this the same Spencer that was trying to get rid of all the foreigners because he thought they would vote for labour and put him out of power? Or the same Spencer and his security minister who went on a deportation spree as revenge, because he almost lost the election and thought it was foreigners fault? Hmmmmm

    Guess people do change…
